I have been getting micro-​exfoliation/​micro-​dermabrasion treatments with Maggie and I am loving my results so far! I currently just finished my third session with her (out of 6) and I am having very noticeable results already. Maggie is very kind and knowledgeable and very professional. The prices are very reasonable and you still get excellent quality work. I would definitely recommend paying Maggie and Bird of Paradise Spa a visit.

I had a Brazilian wax once and it was not a great experience but since I started seeing Maggie I love getting it done. Maggie is a professional with a warm demeanor and the price is well worth the visit. The place is located in Bethesda really clean and the best thing she keeps you schedule for the next visit. I’ve recommended her to my sister and some friends and they all enjoy her service as well.

I have Tendenitus in my left foot, and was receiving treatment from a local sports Therapist. Treatment consisted of a lot of exercises and stretching, then the Tens units and Heat. Sessions were 3 times a week @ $ 35 a copayment.
The Treatment was not helping and they even performed the Dry Needle which did help somewhat. After 5 weeks I had enough of the constant pain and contacted Maggie @ Bird of Paradise, she interview me and could tell how frustrated I was and that I needed results fast with all my pain, it was affecting my job now.
Maggie focused on my left leg from below the knee to the Foot for 1 full hour, it hurt sometimes a lot. Maggie was working out the Trigger points. After 1 hour session I felt so much better than the previous 15 sessions of Physical a Therapy.
Maggie is a very experienced Massage Therapist and she truly cares about helping you with your ailment. I see clients at her practice of all different age groups, body shapes and sizes. I can see the Passion she hays to want to make people to feel better
From my painful experience I highly recommend her, she actually saved me from losing my job.

I have been seeing Maggie for massages for a few months and she gives a great massage every time. She works through knots and tightness easily, with the perfect amount of pressure to loosen up my muscles. I swim, bike, and run, and Maggie’s massages are part of my recovery and help me ensure I’ll be healthy and ready for my next workout or event.
The massage space and office are clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and free (there are two spaces in the garage beneath the building reserved for clients) but getting there by other means (Metro, walking, bicycling) is also easy due to the convenient location in downtown Bethesda.
