These guys are complete jerks (I would use a stronger word here, but my review would likely be flagged). Avoid at all costs — I wouldn’t trust them with my electric toothbrush, let alone my car.
I ordered mats for my BMW thru them, and left them there for a month and a half over the summer while I was moving, traveling and dealing with issues with my dog.
When I went in to pick the mats up, they had returned the mats, refused to accept my payment, and aggressively berated me for not picking up the mats sooner. When I said I didn’t want any drama, they told that if I didn’t want any drama I should take my car elsewhere!!!
They had a (beyond) horrible attitude to the point where I was very uncomfortable leaving my car there for fear that they would purposely mess with it.
I’ve never experienced such poor customer treatment, and never seen grown men (or a business) act like this towards customers. I felt like I was back in high school.
They may do OK work and know their stuff, but not worth the downside. Do yourself a favor and bring your car elsewhere (especially if you don’t want to be threatened by someone when you are getting your car checked out). It will save you the headache!

Great experience here, they gave me honest advice (even telling me what not to fix for a while – against their interest). They are a great value and down-​to-​earth guys. I highly recommend using this shop, you won’t be disappointed!

Have been taking my cars to John and his crew for four years now. A 2003 525it, and a 2005 330ix. I started taking each car to him once my BMW extended service warranties ran out on the cars. They have all of the same BMW diagnostic equipment and certifications as a dealer, and the ability to preform any and all service that a dealer does, but at about 20% — 30% less. When I had service warranties on my cars I took them to BMW of Arlington (now BMW of Alexandria) for all service and repairs. They were great, but I wasn’t paying the bills. There new location is no longer convenient for me anyway. In a pinch when I needed service once on a Saturday, I took one of my cars to VOB BMW in Rockville. That was a mistake. Their customer service was awful, and prices were insanely high. All of this is to say that I’ve had experience with many repair shops on BMWs, and Autobahn is by far the best.

You can count on these guys to do a good job. They will run computer diagnostics and generally not charge you if you get your oil changes and routine maintenance done there.
They are honest and dependable.
