I live in the building above this deli/store. The family that runs this shop are awesome. They treat everyone like family. The sandwiches are great, and they have a decent selection of wine and beer. I go here almost every day.

A little slice of heaven. The owner is very nice, the food is awesome(Waldorf chicken salad, breakfast sandwiches, etc) and on top of everything they have beer, wine, and anything you may have run out of while you are cooking.

I had a great breakfast sandwich(turkey sausage, egg, cheese on a bagel). Staff were so friendly, prices are good for Bethesda, and the latte was great as well. I will definitely be coming back here for breakfast all the time.

This place is pretty fantastic. You want breakfast? They got it. You want lunch? They got it. You want to grab a to-go snack? They got it. You want to pick up basic groceries or beer or wine? They got it. I usually come for lunch– have gotten a number of their sandwiches/subs/paninis and they’ve all been very tasty. They have traditional deli sandwiches(club, reuben, tuna melt) and more creative offerings like my favorite, the Eurasia Korean beef sub. They make it right then and there for you. Portion size is perfect– I’m left feeling satisfied but not overstuffed. Prices are reasonable, and probably on the cheaper side, for the area– $ 7 – 8 for a lunch sandwich. My favorite thing about this place is the service. All the staff– the women behind the sandwich counter and the gentleman behind the cash register– are extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely a family atmosphere. It just puts you in a good mood to be in there. The location is a little hidden– it’s the 1st floor of the Gallery Bethesda apartment building, under the red awning. Oh, they also have cheap, self-serve coffee! Better to come here instead of waiting in those long lines at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. Highly recommended!

I’m so excited this place opened up. For breakfast on the go I always grab their French toast, which is absolutely terrific, bagels are beyond delicious, and their coffee isn’t half bad either. The people who work here are extremely friendly and attentive as hell. You’ll rarely ever see them off their feet. Dogs are welcomed, I walk my little shiba inu in there all the time and she’s always welcomed with a hello and a pet. Pricing is unbeatable for the quality you receive, I’d go here every day if I could.

I love this place. The service is excellent and the people there are always so nice. They have really great food and a little bit of everything. It always saves me a trip when I’m out during the day to just go in there and grab something to eat or drink. They have tables so you stay there and eat inside or out. I highly recommend it.

Great little spot for breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and lots of other deli-type sandwiches, paninis, etc. They seem to take a lot of pride in everything they do. Great family-owned spot.

Yes this is essentially a convenient store with a deli in it so I understand people giving it 5 stars for convenience. Actual food service though is far below 5 stars. I ordered one of their sandwich’s to go, upon getting back to work it was a total different sandwich than I had ordered. This one had bacon on it which I cant eat but didn’t have time to go back and return. Plus its 10 $ for a sandwich on plain sliced bread and they throw in a bag of chips or soda. Neither of which I wanted but you essentially don’t have a choice. Its 10 bucks if you want the chips or not. I don’t mind paying that much for a sandwich if your giving me a Taylors style sandwich. But for something I could throw together at home its not worth it. There are 3 other delis within a 3 minute walking radius. Arias just isn’t worth it to me

Aria is by far my favorite deli in Bethesda! The owner is such a nice and genuine person and all the employees are so sweet as well. They truly care about their business and customer satisfaction and it is clear in the way they interact with customers and prepare food. I come here for breakfast multiple times a week and my favorite part about it is the willingness and enthusiasm they have about making exactly what you want. This includes adding things to sandwiches, usually with no extra cost! Just this morning I added an egg to the Sunny Avocado sandwich and I am seriously tempted to go get another one for lunch. As if the food and staff isn’t reason enough to stop in, they also have beer and wine. What more could a girl ask for?

I randomly came in here one morning to check it out and decided to order a breakfast sandwich. It was phenomenal. I have now tried some of their lunch sandwiches which are equally as good. The owner is so friendly as well and is always in a good mood while preparing your food. Needless to say I have been coming back just about every weekend. It is a good place to get beer as well since they have a diverse selection. I highly recommended you stop by.

I absolutely love this place! I’m in here at least 5 times a week(I live in the building, so that helps). They have pretty much anything I am craving. The deli sandwiches are superb, they may seem a bit pricey at first, but you’ll think you’ve stolen it once you’ve eaten! I am a person who is usually freaked out by typical«deli meat»… But no mystery meat here, only high quality, very tasty, fresh ingredients go into these sandwiches. Peter, the owner, and his son Gene are just super human beings, so friendly and they will always customize my order however I want, which is much appreciated! Hey, I’m a girl who knows what she wants! They serve Lavazza coffee, which is pretty much amazing. And they have wonderful little«gourmet» treats you can’t find many places, inkos teas, sahale snacks, haribo gummies(ok maybe not gourmet, but indisputably the far superior gummi, and not easily found most places), and some of the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. Come to this place, support small business!

This place is a little hidden on the first floor of a building. A little unassuming and I wouldn’t have even noticed it if I wasn’t told it was here. As you go in there is a place where you can order hot food and plenty of choices for drinks. Depending on what you like they might have just what you need! There are plenty of self serve drinks, the then I found they have Bolthouse farms soy chai tea… so good. A little over priced, but it was just what i wanted. Can’t comment on the food. Although it was coming out in a timely manner. But there was only one guy working when i went… and he was doing his best…

Friendly, great service, and they work hard to keep their prices down. Love this place. You should go Green a sandwich or even just an espresso, and sit by the water outside.

A welcome new addition to the neighborhood! This –Deli –Convenience Store(They have eggs/butter/jerkey/some canned goods/tea) –Dry Cleaners(This part I don’t believe is functioning yet) –Coffee House has it all! I ordered the Reuben Sandwich. The bread was really good, hearty amount of saurkraut and the right amount of thousand island dressing. But there was just one issue(there were some gristly/non edible parts in my sandwich). They just need to learn how to trim the corned beef better. Or maybe get a better cut. Other than that my experience was perfect. There is a gentlemen who works in the kitchen that is very enthusiastic about people trying out the food. He says«It’s fresh, it’s fresh» a lot. Nice guy! He came around and checked how everyone’s meal was. Good customer service! Can I tell you something I LOVE about this place. They have the iced coffee out in a urn so that you can serve yourself. And this is why I love this soooo much. Super Diatribe: So I go to Starbucks and order an Iced Coffee with room. But with Starbucks they put the coffee up to the line and then fill it with ice. But when I ask for room for cream, then they don’t put enough ice in it. Which means, that the few ice cubes in there melt really quickly and dillute my iced coffee. So the correct way to order my drink at Starbucks(I used to work at one) is: Can I have an Iced Venti Unsweetened Extra Ice Iced Coffee. But I sound like a complete idiot ordering my coffee this way. I literally say ice three times! So I just order an iced coffee and hope they put in enough ice and then pour some coffee off in the trash can. End of Super Diatribe. So here, I can put the ice in first, add the coffee up to the level I want it and BAM! Not only that… but it’s cheaper than Starbucks, they have a plethora of outdoor seating, and the coffee tastes better! This Lavtazza coffee or however you spell tastes really good. I also got the potato salad which was good! They also give you like 2 servings for 2.89. Also, I forgot to mention that the Rebuen was 7.00 dollars even &! my entire Reuben/Large Iced Coffee/& Potato Salad was 12.00 dollars something sense. Perfect spot for a beautiful day. Can’t wait to go back. A couple of things I would do if I was ownership. — Offer Korean Food!(I read that the owner is Korean) I would totally be down with some Bibimbap/Bulgogi/Spicy pork/Kimchi on an interesting sandwich — WIFI — Make sure the corned beef is trimmed well. I’m hoping this was just a one-off — Keep everything else the way it is! Like I said! Great addition to the community!
