I was a walk-​in during the 12 o’clock lunch hour and was in and out in about 15 minutes. I was only there for prints ($ 30) but it was very fast and the staff were kind and helpful.

Good place. Easy to find. Staff was young, but mostly professional.
In and out with fingerprints and paperwork.
Parking does cost $.
Fee was approx. $ 57.
State of Maryland (i.e. — Maryland State Police) does accept prints from this company.

I had to get finger printed for volunteering with elementary school children and there were 4 locations I could choose from. This location was the closest, I was told to call to schedule an appointment, I listened to the automated message and was instructed to schedule online. The website was easy to use and I was scheduled in about a minute after finding the site!
On the day of the finger printing I came and there was one employee there, but no one else waiting. She came right over and took my information and I paid. Then we went to the finger printing room, she made sure my information was correct, did my prints and I was out in about 10 minutes. Zabrina was the person who did my prints, she was friendly, made some conversation and tried to be quick, but careful with the service. The only downside would have been parking fees, first 15 minutes is free, but then first hour is $ 5… luckily I got dropped off so did not have to worry about the high fees/​rushing to get it free.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was glad that everything was quick and easy!

Poor costumer service, poor quality of fingerprints (had mine rejected because they were too dark) and overly priced about 30 $. Do not go here!

Besides being rude on the phone, and have ambiguous information on the website, in person it gets much worse. Just left the Rockville office where I had the displeasure of dealing with a very rude little girl named Sabrina. She acted like I was bothering her by asking questions about the classes, and then incorrectly charged my card for fingerprints only. I requested a refund on the spot. I will not be returning. The prices are inconsistent with what I was told on the phone. And when I asked for her name and the owners name she told me he didn’t really have anything to do with the office. I told her I wanted it anyway. Side note* she had some skin irritation or infection around her mouth that she kept rubbing, and while it may not be contagious, (I don’t know) so I promptly took my license and credit card to the bathroom to wash them both off with soap.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The state police will not accept this as a valid place. They will lie and tell you they are excepted for handgun permits etc but they are not. I have a letter from the Virginia State Police letting me know they do not accept prints from here. Do not waste your money. I email the company to let them know and for a response but it was ignored. Stay Away from American Identitiy Solutions in Rockville.

If you are in need of fingerprinting services as a job requirement, I highly recommend this agency. It’s easy to get to and has plenty of parking, although it will cost you $ 5 if you are more than 15 minutes. (Save your receipt as a work expense.)
When you exit the elevator, the suite looks like a spa. Two receptionist greet you and give you a simple form to fill out. The waiting area is huge, but with an appointment there was no wait for me.
Fingerprints are done electronically. After the tech logs in your info it only takes about three minutes. No messy fingers either! With electronic fingerprinting, the results are instant, and your employer can have the results in a matter of days, not weeks.
I believe it cost $ 57.25 if your work does not cover the expense.
