Local dive bar with a small town vibe! We like to think of our selves like the island of misfit toys, we have no specific social group. We welcome one and all; from sports fans to bikers to intellectuals. Pool tables, shuffleboard table, and darts are all available. We have a large outdoor area to smoke and drink in the sunshine, and in the winter we host our own boot hockey league out there! The Hydrant offers a full bar and a large selection of bottled beers. Cheap drinks and pull tabs are available year round! We offer free space to do benefits, birthday parties, ect. The Hydrant also has an amazing large stage, and we utilize it with open jams, bands, and soft acoustic sets. Located just a couple miles off Hwy 65 in Bethel. Come and have a drink with us at The Hydrant; not your ordinary watering hole!

History

Established in 2007.

The bar was built in 1904. Charlie bought the building in 2007. The business was called The Vanishing Point before Charlie dubbed it The Hydrant, spinning off of his former place of employment; The Firehouse.
