History

Established in 2008.

This historic almost 200 year-​old Federal style home was converted into a bed and breakfast in 2008. It has opened its doors to the casual and business traveler year-​round for over five years. The hosts, both retired school teachers, maintain the establishment as a respite for every type of guest, keeping the prices affordable for all and providing quality service. This bed and breakfast has been known for providing warm hospitality and friendly service.

Business Owner

Innkeepers, Warren and Janet, developed and started their bed and breakfast after renovating their newly purchased historic home. Both are retired school teachers and worked and lived in the Honesdale area for over 38 years. Having lived in Pennsylvania all their lives, both were raised with Pennsylvania Dutch heritage in Berks County. Raising their family and living in rural Wayne County honed their skills in gardening, cooking and property maintenance. Guests will be met with friendly service, warm surroundings, and filling home-​cooked breakfasts.
