Every once in awhile you find a really great throwback of a store that brings back memories of wonderful years back with family and friends… Rhodes is such a place. Have been going there since 1969 and found the crazy stuff there to be unlike anywhere else you find today. Our kids and grandkids still have fun today visiting Rhodes! Best traditional beach gear ever. Still, have our commercial grade bright yellow beach umbrella we bought there 20 years ago… looks great still! Stop by… so nice to have a family owned business like this for fun times every visit to BB.

Rhodes is a fixture in Bethany Beach. It is indispensable if you have young children. Lots of nice beach toys and things to keep you occupied when you are not under the sun. They have a little bit of everything.

I was looking for a place with a magazine and newspaper stand in Bethany Beach, and this was it. It had a decent selection of newspapers and an average selection of magazines. I picked one up to read while I did nothing but sit on the beach for Memorial Day weekend.
Other than that it had some everyday beach store items like t-​shirts, mugs, and keychains along with some useful beach toys such as kites, wiffle bats and the like.
