This is a military base for the Delaware Army National Guard that’s located at scenic Bethany Beach.
Part of the base (which is small) is home to the Delaware Army National Guard Officer Candidate School and others parts of the base are used for camp grounds, trailer rentals, and other National Guard business.
As far as National Guard bases go, it’s pretty nice and veterans of the guard (and others) can rent out trailers very cheap. Also, there’s a small gym on post with TVs and a sauna. In the back of the base is a running track and a very scenic picnic area along the water.
Check this place out if you have your military ID, are in the area, and want a cheap place to stay for less than $ 100 a night.
