Best car wash ever. They do such a great job and have kind personal service

They always do a great job. The elite wash makes my car look like new — they always do an amazing job on the interior. The staff, both outside and inside, are always friendly and helpful.

I visited this car wash after the poor service that I experienced at Ben Franklin in Frazer. When I left the lot I was over the moon about the job that they had done. Upon arriving back at work I open the back tailgate and much to my surprise it had been vacuumed but not that well. See, I had a small vacuum in the back that I was taking back to the office. When I moved it (the weight of this item was about 4 pounds), I was quick to realize that I was the first to move the item. Now I know what you are thinking… You can’t expect them to move items to vacuum. Normally I would agree, but in this case I paid extra to have it done. I got the $ 36 car wash and even asked the guy who took the car from me to make sure this was done. In addition to this I tipped the guys. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Could someone open a car wash on the Main Line that doesn’t provide poor service? Maybe it was because I wasn’t driving a Mercedes, BMW, Lexus or Audi.

Our family will go out of our way to never go to this car wash again. Owner was very rude to me. He was so rude that the other customer in the waiting room with me came outside and said he, too, would never come back there either because of the way I was treated. I don’t think they understand good service begins and ends with basic respect. This ranks up there with one of the worst experiences I ever had with a business owner. We had been going there for several years. Perhaps it’s new ownership.

I’ve been coming here for years. I do get the signature elite service with wheel detail, which is one of their higher end services and includes a very thorough interior cleaning. Yes, they are pricey, but my cars always look incredible and, if you buy one of their multi-​wash cards during a sale, they are not THAT much more expensive.
Additionally, have had some nicks and scrapes and here’s where they REALLY shine! These guys know their stuff about buffing and polishing and have been able to get rid of some pretty bad-​looking scrapes! They also have a guy who stops by and does dent removal who is amazing.
They really are a great, customer-​focused business and really want everyone to leave fully satisfied. I’m pretty amazed at the service!

I recently visited Spa Car Wash in Berwyn for a full detail on my over-​used, under-​appreciated car. Spa Car Wash re-​invented my car! It was unrecognizable to myself and my co-​workers. As a single working mom with pets galore, I have never prioritized the car, however, I feel like a new woman when I step into my shiny, ultra-​clean car! So, the next time I need a pick-​me-​up, I am skipping the new outfit, handbag or shoes and heading to Spa Car Wash to have my car and image bedazzled!

A friend of mine recommended that I get the $ 36 car wash and detail from Spa Car Wash. She has been raving about this place for a long time.
Since I live in the city, I don’t have many opportunities to properly vacuum or wash my car. When I decided to try Spa Car Wash, my car had not had a solid vacuuming in probably a year. I vacuum it randomly to get the big stuff up but the vacuums at regular car washes just don’t do the job.
I waited about 10 minutes in the line at Spa Car Wash before it was my turn. The men working the car wash have it down to a science. One person takes you «order» and puts a sticker on your car door (for future washes — I assume this is how they track their customer base), the next starts the vacuuming, while you step out and got through the store to pay.
Overall, I was pretty pleased with their work, especially on the outside of my car and the windows. I did find a few small nooks, below the seats that they missed with their vacuum. For that prices that they charge, I don’t expect them to miss anything.

A nice carwash, cleaned my car as good as any other. I am giving medium rating because although the wash was somewhat a little better than average the price was a drawback. I think this is the most expensive carwash I have ever been to. Not necessarily worth the price. I most likely won’t go back based solely in the price.

I have been a frequent customer but I don’t think I will go back. Place has really gone down hill. Puddles left on the floor mats, seats not cleaned and no vacuuming for a $ 26 wash. They were good once but there doesn’t seem to be any attention to detail.

This is in relation to the #2 wash package. Inside vacuuming was unimpressive. Floors were okay but the edges and next to the seats were not touched. Windshield still has bug splatters on outside, still visible dirt on bottom of car and on hood, and wheels actually look worse because there are now some clean parts surrounded by a lot of dirt (albeit my tires were filthy). My car is cleaner than when I brought it in, but I would not describe it as clean. I will not return.

Boy has this place gone down hill. For the price you are expecting top quality service, but they churn you out like a machine and do a half ass job on your car. They slathered on the tire shine in a hurry when I pointed out that they forgot to do it, then I was honked at to quickly move my car. I can’t quickly move my car when the wheels are soaked in tire shine because it will splatter up and hit my paint causing harm to the paint and for me to need another car wash. Doesn’t stop there, the entire back of my car was not dried or wiped down, it was also still coated in dirt and my side mirrors clearly were not cleaned. I almost forgot to mention that when I pulled up to the car wash the person assigned to do matts flung open my passenger door before I was out of the car and started throwing my stuff at me while I was trying to gather my belongings and get out of the car. When I pulled an employee aside to come wipe down the back of my car and tires some older gentleman came over to argue with my to tell me I was wrong. Save your money and go somewhere else. I get better service and results at other car washes in the area for 30% less.

I frequent the Car Spa solid wash and great hand dry couldn’t ask for better service or a nicer waiting room!

I’d like to update my review because although I still haven’t had any services done with this place, the owner reached out to me to apologize for the miscommunication I had and I think that is going above and beyond. It’s nice that they cared enough to check Unilocal and to write something so polite to me. I will definitely reconsider visiting them.

This is a tough review to write because I actually think they do a good job with their washes and details but I feel it necessary to caution people before going to Spa based on an interaction with one of the «owners» today.
Took my car in for a full service wash. Noticed that after my car came out of tunnel my driver side mirror was in a weird/​not normal position. I watched the guys wipe the car down and try to move the mirror back to the normal position. I didn’t want to touch it thinking maybe the would notice and ask me if this was normal.
My car has automatic folding mirrors which fold when a button is pressed from in side the car so I thought maybe the greeters who vacuum before the wash folded the mirrors in before running through wash. Said to myself ok I get it, maybe the button was pressed accidentally from when I got out of car and the Spa workers took the car into the tunnel.
Upon entering my car after it was finished being dried I tried to get the mirror to go into the normal driving position. When I was not able to get it to return to normal/​original position I asked one of the workers what happened to my mirror. They said wait one minute, let me grab one of the manager/​owners.
A gentlemen named Chris came out introduced himself. I explained to him what I saw (after my car came out of wash tunnel) and he started assess the situation. Unfortunately, this is where things went down hill. I’ve owned my own businesses for over 10 yrs and the one thing I’ve learned is never to put the customer in a position where they feel the need to be in a defensive position. Chris proceeded to tell me «well, the mirror is loose, how do I know it wasn’t loose before it went in». He also tried to tell me something about the operation of my mirrors for my style of car that simply isn’t true. So, now he’s told me that he can’t prove that it already came in that way AND he knows more about how my car operates. Not, «hey let me think about this a little». I get it, he probably gets 100’s of people a week coming through his wash claiming his wash did something to their car when in fact it was already there. I deal with that too in my businesses but I listen to customer and never try to place blame on the customer. But, remember, I watched his guy basically move the mirror back after wiping down, which could have very well broken it. So I’m reasonable, I agree we can’t prove it was or wasn’t broken before it went in — although they apparently have tape of my car entering wash and I know it wasn’t in weird position when I exited car.
At this point he’s frustrated, I’m frustrated and we are basically arguing out loud in his parking lot. He doesn’t want to admit they broke it and I say well how did it get this way from the time I dropped it until now? Total impasse. He proceeds to dismiss me and tells me to go see his guy at a local collision shop. They will assess damage and let him (Chris @ Spa) know what they think.
So, I drive to collision shop, explain to person he asked me to see what happened and I’m told «yea, that seems reasonable that they could have broken it» — again based on what I witnessed. I’m not looking for a legally binding judgement here — haha — I just did what Chris at Spa told me to do.
Well, as the shop owner is putting together and estimate who does he get a call from? Chris from Spa! I didn’t hear conversation but I could tell from the Shop owners reaction that Chris wasn’t happy with me. Maybe he was upset that I actually went to collision shop?
So, if you’ve read this far you’re probably asking yourself, ok what do you want. Well, I would love for them to admit that yes, while you wash thousands of cars per week things /​mistakes do happen. And, that’s it’s not the best business practice to put your customers on the defensive. Would be nice if the agreed to fix the damage ($ 513 estimate from the guy he told me to go to) but not holding my breath.
Sad, because they do a good job but with so many other car washes around why go back? Before you use them, ask yourself the same question, with the minuscule chance that they do cause damage would you want to deal with what I dealt with?

Although Pete’s Main Line Car Wash is closer, I drive the extra 5 minutes out to Spa Car Wash because Pete apparently likes to discriminate against jeeps.
All car washes in this area seem to be insanely overpriced, so I think I may have just been conditioned to accept what a lot of my friends consider ridiculous prices, but the good thing about Spa Car Wash is that for ~$ 34, in addition to a wash you also get a quick «detail» where they do an extra-​thorough vacuuming, compressed air blow-​out, etc. I’m always pretty happy after I get that service done.
The bad part about this car wash is that if you don’t spring for the $ 34, the next level down (~$ 28 or so) does an abysmal job of vacuuming. If you have a dog this won’t even put a dent in the hair and even if not, I’ve been disappointed on more than one occasion with a lack of detail on the interior. For a while the vacuuming was so bad that I had just assumed they didn’t vacuum out the back of SUVs. I wish there was some middle ground between the two wash levels.
For the car wash, Spa does a decent job at prices that are in-​line for the area (albeit laughable almost anywhere else). I’d be lying if I didn’t say my motivation to come here is more to give an ‘FU’ to jeep-​hating Pete’s rather than some exceptional experience I’ve had at Spa.

I get the $ 106 mini detail each month. I also get the $ 33 signature wash as-​needed to maintain the «detailed» look.
It takes about an hour which is just enough time to walk to Berwyn and grab lunch or take a barre3 class or get nails done. :)
They gave a great selection of magazines also.
The facility is very clean and the staff is very respectful. Would highly recommend .
The only negative comment I have is the hours. I wish they were open later on weekdays and were open on Sunday .
I like how they always have a Maserati parked in front … Nice bougie touch.

I will admit, this is not the most affordable car wash in the area, but the service is outstanding! I drive up from Newtown Square for it! I buy books of washes at a discount, which is really the way to do it! My wash of choice is the Signature Elite which includes an extra thorough vacuum (Necessary if you own a shedding dog!) and a console blow out with compressed air. My car feels brand new every time! It takes about 20 minutes, but I bring a book to read. If I’m in a hurry I go with a works which is a pretty standard car wash and a little bit cheaper than the Elite! I recommend going mid week as the line on The weekends can get long but they do everything they can to keep it moving!

I expected more for my $ 39.00 (a signature elite wash and tire detail.) Instead of getting an immaculately clean car, my car was OK clean but there was still (after $ 39) bug stuff on my headlights and on the nose of the car. When I told the guy at the front desk he did not offer to re-​wash my car at no charge. (Yes, you read that right. He DID NOT offer to re wash my car at no charge.) He told me I should tell the guys to tend to the front end more attentively when I hand my car off to them the NEXT TIME I wash my car there!
I went home and priced out what it would cost to buy all the stuff off of Amazon (lambs wool mitt, etc) and I will be washing my car at home from now on. No more rip off, lame car washes.
The one thing they do that is cool is that the use air pressure to blow debris out of your car as they clean the interior. I don’t know how I will replicate that trick at home but I will find a way.

I bring my car here about once a month encrusted with bugs on the outside and covered in dog hair inside. I get the #4 Signature Elite ($ 32.99 — not including gratuity for the poor soul that pulls the short straw on my car).
It comes out shiny and new looking every time. The staff is really friendly and they recognize when you are a repeat customer.
My only complaint is how far I have to drive to get there, but Spa is definitely worth going out of your way.

As with other car washes in this area, you get little for the price. I’ve paid in excess of $ 25 bucks and still had dirty wheels (more than once). To their credit they do rewash (when you complain), but that’s an added hassle no one needs. I say do it right the first time and every time. It’s not rocket science, it’s a car wash! I’ve never used their detailing services-​I expect I’d be equally underwhelmed-​but who knows?
And and you have to pay more than $ 30 if you want your dash wiped!
