the a-​hole owner Evaldas sent me a message saying «who are you? you even wasn’t here and you writing bad rewiew about us? all you rewiews only 1star? wonder why?»
we were there, not all of my reviews are one star, instead of responding to people who write your restaurant negative reviews, fix the problems of the poor service and poor food. As i said the bread you served sucked, you waiter forgot part of our order, your food was flavorless, you will go the way of carlas place! Also, 95% of the good review for this restaurant are written by the owner and owner’s freinds!

I must admit my initial review was one star too low. But I was very hungry and annoyed at the time I was writing it. So let me expound on some things. The food is the closest you will get to a gourmet dining experience in Berwyn. It’s fekin delicious. My rating and frustrations is the inconsistent chef/​owner. I’m assuming the chef is the person that owns the place. How else can he be able to decide «fawk it, I’m done cooking for today.» Yet remain employed. If the chef frowns on pickup orders, don’t offer it as an option! 2 times I have been told the kitchen is closed at really unexplainable hours. Early in the afternoon, or 3 hours before closing. Hey chef, Fah Q for making me believe I could enjoy gourmet meals, reasonably priced, and in Berwyn of all places.

A surprising spot — wonderfully elegant restaurant and bar hidden in plain sight. From the name and outside signs, we expected a café /​takeout place. Once we walked in, we found a beautiful, calm bar with impeccable service and high end food/​cocktails. The cocktails: Moscow Mule, Perfect Pear, Martinis… all delicious. Décor: European elegance. Food: seafood, pasta, lamb, some kid’s meal options.
This is a great date night spot, perfect for a celebratory outing or a quick cocktail.

The restaurant is wonderful, the food was great and the service was outstanding! I would highly recommended it. The bartender Evaldas made us some great cocktails. Tried the watermelon martini and the mojito, WOW!

Hit and miss is what I would say. We went on a Wednesday night and sat outside. There was one other person eating outside and the waiter and maybe owner at an outside table. ZERO people inside and when we walked inside, NO AC! It was hot inside, thus the reason we decided to sit outside. We were served some bread, tasted stale and was not even good. I could have walked down the street to La Familia grocery and got better fresh bake bread. I will say the salmon I had was good. My wife had chicken Kiev and did not like it. Also, the waiter forgot my Cesar Salad. I did taste my wife’s chicken Kiev and was not that good. However, we did the Chicken Kiev home and the next day when I had it for lunch the flavors came out after I reheated it. If this restaurant expects to stay in business, improve service and food offerings!

The food, service, and prices were amazing. We had the salmon, duck steak, chocolate semifreddo, and tiramasu. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was and had to double check I wasn’t downtown but in Berwyn.

This place opened up a few months ago and I had been wanting to check it out since it is really close to where I live. There weren’t many Unilocal reviews yet so I was a little worried. The place was nicely decorated and clean but it was completely empty when we walked in!
Ordered the flat bread appetizer, the chicken cordon bleu, the salmon entrée and the chocolate semifreddo for dessert between the two of us. Everything was amazing! The chicken was tender and juicy and the salmon was delicious.
I’ve eaten at a lot of the other restaurants around Berwyn and have usually been disappointed since they don’t really compare to the places in the city or other suburbs.
However, I really hope more people check this place out and give it a chance since it definitely exceeded my expectations.
The prices were really fair for what you get and the food was well worth it. I will be coming back here again.

I’m glad we found this restaurant! Very friendly, personal service from the waiter/​bartender. The appetizer and entrees were delicious. The menu is not huge, and I think that’s a good thing: it’s better to do a few things well than to dabble in all kinds of mediocre things. We plan to go again soon and check out the live music on Friday nights.
