Cute family run restaurant not far off 80. Varied menu and bar. Great ambience and service!

Go for the Alcohol the food is terrible. Had the brisket sampler. The brisket was so dry it was crunchy, the pork roast had that distinct microwaved /warmed up taste. The cole slaw was edible. My partner had the chicken wings. They were so «rubbery» that he could to eat them. The blue cheese dressing was so watered down it was skim milk. When we pointed all this out to our waitress she said she would get somebody for us to talk too. Never happened. Had to ask for the Manager on our way out and were told that she was busy cooking(could this be the problem). We finally spoke to her and she apologized. Stated that they had started smoking the wings. Never heard of this technique before but would explain them being rubbery

Food was amazing! So much more than we ever expected for a bar. Got the haddock sandwich, listed as breaded, had no problem leaving off the breaking and broiling it. Was perfectly cooked moist and flavorful. Brisket was to die for. Cole slaw is a must, even better than my grandma’s. fresh cut fries reminded me of boardwalk fries I’ve had at the beach. Service was great. Drinks were great and cheap. Very relaxing on their out door deck. Bathroom on dining area was super clean.

We just stopped in for a drink on our way to Ricketts Glen. The service was good, and they have a great outdoor deck. It’s a shame we weren’t hungry because their menu looked good. Definitely worth a stop back if we’re in the area.
