Carmen does great work but her customer service skills lack tremendously. I took my dog in at around 7:30 because she had an appointment at 10. Carmen said she would call my father to pick her up for me while I was at work, by the time I got off at 4:30 she still hadn’t called my father. I got there around 4:45 and she wasn’t even finished with my dog. I then waited about 15 minutes and she brought her out and handed her to me and she wasn’t even fully finished. So my dog ended up being in a kennel for roughly 5 – 7 hours she wasn’t fully finished when I picked her up and that was 6 hours after her supposed appointment at 10. I have found a new groomer and Will Not be going to bar car again.

The best place for grooming and boarding. They take care of your dogs as if they were they’re own. The family run business treats you and your pets like one of their own. I never worry about my dogs when they’re at Bar-Car.

I have been taking my dog here for 8 years and recommend without reservation. Even though it is miles out of my way (I initially chose to come here when I first moved here without much grasp of local geography), I continue to bring my pup here because of the TLC and excellent care he receives. My pup had been labelled «fractious», even being kicked out of a vet practice for his feral ways (towards people, not other dogs– he’s a dog’s dog). No problem for Carman and the crew. He was boarded with love and socialized with the other pups. Slim also gets groomed here, and Carman does a lovely job.
