Cool Spring Farm specializes in sustainably and humanely raised meats available through CSA Memberships. Our current products include 100% grass-fed beef, pastured pork, and all-natural chicken.
History
Established in 1960.
Located 60 miles west of Washington, D.C. in scenic Clarke County, VA, Cool Spring Farm encompasses 109 acres of naturally-alkaline, fertile pastureland nestled in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We raise grass-fed cattle, pastured pigs, and fruits and vegetables with farming techniques that are healthy for our family, our land and water, and for you, our customers.
We never give our animals any antibiotics or GMO feed. Our cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished.

Business Owner
Mike spent most of his childhood at Cool Spring Farm. Those childhood experiences played a huge role in his future career path. His focus with Cool Spring Farm is to create clean, nourishing food that benefits everyone: the farmers, the consumers, the environment and future generations.
Mike, his wife Annie, and their dog Ruby, share a love of nature, all things outdoors, cooking together, and entertaining friends and family.
