Best burgers around. The service is fantastic and they are very thankful for their regular diners! Some entrees can be pricy but the mid week deals are fabulous. Quite noisy, but not offensive. Don’t take friends or family with hearing impairments. They will have difficulty.

**I would give this place zero stars if I could**
You would think a place close to the train station in a small town would know how to treat guests, think again! For someone who stops/​walks by this place multiple times a week my experiences have gotten worse over time and I’m never going back!!! The food is of cheap quality and the liquor selection is worse than Denny’s. «Yes, Denny’s a place that does not serve liquor». I spoke to two bartenders then the GM about a chicken sandwich that was served to me raw and somehow it was my fault. «you must have ordered it medium rare or you are just too picky– it looks fine to me!» Thanks for the food poisoning after my first bite. #thestationbernardsvillesucks #lawsuitwaitingto happen

Worst take out service ever. Nothing like getting home with hot wings with no hot sauce. I guess I should have driven back 10/​miles to get the order done right. When I called to complain I was told the sauce absorbed into the wings. Never had sauce on wings that were take out, much to hard the reheat that way. Guess they are new to the business. I will not be back for take out. It is a shame sine I liked their wings and drove there from Morristown.

First I want to start off by saying the location is wonderful. I visited the restaurant with another couple so in total a party of four. ¾ out of us had a burger and I must say it was wonderful! The chef is extremely friendly and makes her way around the restaurant visiting tables and welcoming them. She really tries to make you feel at home.
I would definitely visit again!

This is a very nice restaurant to bring your children too, or to hang at the bar. The food is very good and the service is polite. Our order took a bit long to arrive, and our waitress apologized and brought us a round of drinks on the house. Overall a very pleasant experience. We’ll be back.

We had always passed this place by thinking it was just a pub and burger type — WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS! Their Fish Tacos, Onion Soup and Chicken Pot Pie have been top notch, the service is highly attentive and owner/​Chef, Geraldine, made us feel like home. PS The dessert menu is concise but the Berry Pie is freshly made and terrific! A new favorite spot for me.

We’ve ate here several times since moving to bernardsville in 2014. I have to say that the food is excellent and everything tastes homemade and not prepared and shipped there. My one complaint is the beers could be colder. And during football season the girl who usually is the bartender knows so much of the clientele and takes on so much on her own it tends to slow down service. However that wouldn’t stop us from coming back.

Second time eating at The Station in the past few weeks and not even slightly impressed! The first time, I ordered a burger. Nothing special. It was a regular pre-​frozen burger with cheese on it. Fries were yummy.
Tonight we ordered the grilled chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was far from great. They used iceberg lettuce in the wrap. Who does that?! When I eat a wrap, I like to see some nice greens in there. We also ordered the southwest salad. On the menu it stated mixed greens. The order arrived at our table and there is a mix of romaine and baby spinach. Not even close to «mixed greens».
Portions were a good size. Service was bad. Took forever to find our waiter when needed and obviously not run by a manager or owner.
We won’t be back.

The service was good. Initially we were sat by the kitchen where the cooks were blasting music. We moved to the bar and had a better experience. The bartender was gracious and helpful. Food is just okay. Overall, this is a better place to get a drink and watch some games.

I am a Bernardsville resident, and the Station is my favorite local spot… a great, comfortable casual bar/​restaurant with good food. The menu has something for everyone… the salmon kabobs are fantastic, and I’m a huge fan of the South Beach salad too. Their wings and ribs are the best around. There are also a variety of specials which change on a weekly basis, to provide innovative additional choices to the regular menu.
They throw an annual Super Bowl party which has really caught on… last night was fantastic! Great atmosphere, Budweiser specials, give-​a-​ways and quantities of FREE food… they provided their excellent pizza (!), quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, chicken poppers, and lots more at the end of each quarter for the bar crowd. The food kept on coming until every tummy was full! What a great way to say thank you to their patrons!!!

A reliable restaurant for a good burger, lunch with the kids or some wine with friends. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Absolutely phenomenal! The food was great and the service was excellent. We were a table of 8 and we called ahead. We were lucky, and it was a bit on the early side.
The apps were so good! We had the guacamole and the chicken nachos. I highly recommend both!
My wife had the salmon and my SIL had the fish tacos. The salmon was good, but the fish tacos were excellent. I had a pizza and my BIL had a burger. Both were good. Kids all loved their meals.
The service was very good. My 5 year old insisted on the mac and cheese, even though he has never had it and is a picky eater. He obviously decided he doesn’t like mac and cheese and they rushed out an order of plain pasta in like 2 min. We were so happy!!!

Stopped in on a Friday evening prior to a movie. There was an odd number of small children, given the pub atmosphere. The manager who seated us was gruff and borderline scary. After we got crammed into kiddie corner we waited some time for our server to take our order. My husband ordered a beer and it was stale and nearly off. Like one of the top five worst beers he’s ever had. Thought about sending it back but the server was so in attentive it wasn’t worth trying. We ordered off of a seriously uninspiring menu. I was actually disappointed that I was trapped at a place where I nothing on the menu sounded good and everyone’s food around us looked inedible. We decided to high tail it out before it ruined our evening.
In short, I opted for stale movie popcorn rather than stay one moment longer in this place. So technically I can’t comment on the food.

Stopped in for a quick lunch or what i thought would be a quick lunch. The décor was typical bar type. The outside seating is a pull. The burger was great but my bun was soggy. The place was not packed but i believe we waited way too long for burgers. I also ordered sweet potato fries that we not crispy at all and my co workers had over cooked french fries. I can not say that this is a place i would return to.

Went here last night with another couple and our two month old daughter. We were nervous it would be loud as the other couple had been there before. We arrived after the dinner crowd and were surprised to see there was plenty of out door seating available and when we went inside the place was basically empty. We had expected it not to be as crowded as it was a Saturday night in July but even the bar was empty.
With that being said service was fast and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and dinners. We had the pretzel bite app which was excellent, and the calamari, which in my opinion could’ve used more calamari and less peppers etc. My wife’s Cobb salad was great and my fish and chips were excellent. The drinks were pretty good, could’ve used more liquor but other than that and the lack of calamari the night was great.
We will definitely be back there again!

Great burgers!!! Roll was relatively stale however it was a Monday when I dined there, so may have been a weekend leftover.

The Station serves a mean sandwich and pretty good beer!
Beers on tap number about a dozen with standards like Heineken, Stella Artois and Yuengling, crafts like Speakeasy Big Daddy and Long Trail IPA.
Get the corned beef sandwich! For just $ 10 it’s an enormous portion of beef piled with sauerkraut and layered in cheese, on nice marbled rye bread plus a huge side of fried golden potato wedges. This is two meals easily.
I can also recommend the fish tacos.
Every lunch there’s a special, like a pizza and a beer for a very fair price.
During happy hour lots of bar snacks are cheap. The wings are very good and the little pizza is pretty good too.
This bar-​restaruant is newly remodeled as of Jan 2013 to have a much larger bar and fewer tables. This was a nice place before the remodel, and is even nicer after. They have plenty of TVs in the bar area. Part of the new look is fabric panels on the ceiling and walls so I think it will actually be pretty quiet when it’s all done.
