Back-​sass BBQ recently opened in Bernalillo. Their current menu is very limited, but they plan to expand it. I had a hotlink sandwich with chips for $ 5.00. The hotlink was moderately spicy and had a good smoky barbeque flavor. The bun was soft and fresh. I was given a free sample of their soup of the day, chicken with rice and vegetables. The soup was flavorful.
The décor was very basic, some aged booths and tables. But I am suspicious of barbeque joints with fancy interiors. I will definitely come back to see what they add to their menu.
