The staff was friendly and helpful. The design was fresh and appealing. The linens on the bed were a good quality. They provided multiple pillows and nice bathroom amenities. The water slide & pool were clean and fun. But the one thing they failed miserably on was the most important one — the actual mattress. The mattress deserves a 0! It was cheap, cheap, cheap. Very thin, able to feel every single spring, and the mattress seemed more worn that the rest of the room… it tilted badly to one side. The most important thing about a hotel is your actual nights sleep. Hampton, put more money into your actual beds than the cute mustache coffee cups.

This is a very clean hotel in a good location convenient to Winston Salem, NC. They have an indoor pool with water slides. In the morning, breakfast is served in the dining area located at the lobby. Food is adequate with a waffle maker, omelettes, oatmeal, grits, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and French toast. This location also has a couple restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store nearby. There is even a hospital nearby if you have too much fun. Overall, this is a great place to lay your head with many things close.

One of the nicest Hamptons Inn I’ve ever stayed at. The entire place smells like fresh linen. Small, but great indoor pool area with a jacuzzi. Two awesome water slides available. Highly recommended.

This place is fairly new. My room was clean a fresh smelling. The pool with the slides looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Great for what it is. The hotel is very new only about 4 years old. Rooms are cheery I love that they are painted blue and green. Bathrooms come restocked with Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, face soap, hand soap, and makeup remover cloths. Mirrored closet with laundry service, and hard ethernet connection as well as wifi. The alarm clocks actually work! And have an ambient nose feature! The pool area is awesome, indoor, heated, spa, pool, and 2 watersides(the dark brown one is better). The gym is great, full set of free weights! Complimentary breakfast has everything to chose from. Always fresh hot coffee at the front desk. The front desk is so helpful have steered me in the right direction as far as where to eat and where to stay away from. I can be relentless sometimes and despite multiple phone calls and visits to the front desk in one night no attitude was given to me.

I stayed here last week, and I had a great experience. This time I had a room with a bed, sofa, fridge, and microwave. The room was so big, ten people could have easily slept on the floor. There was no closet though, and I think this much be a trend with the rooms in this hotel. In the mornings, there is free breakfast, but this is the only Hampton where I’ve stayed(stayed at many) that provides a quick lunch bag breakfast on the run — a packaged muffin, a Special K bar, an apple, bottled water, and mints. It’s not much, but definitely a life saver when I’m at work and don’t have time for lunch. It’s also a great addition to my morning Starbucks. The reason for the five stars is the pool area. There is a pool, whirlpool(timer is near the hot tub), and two water slides that are two stories tall!!! They jut outside of the hotel, and you land back inside the hotel, so they are totally enclosed. If the water slides are off, go to the front desk and ask them to turn on the electricity. Understandably, they turn off the electricity on a slow day. The front desk lady left the desk to turn on the electricity for me, and she returned after I had finished going up and down the slides after 30 minutes, which was very nice of her. Since she turned on the electricity for just me, the hotel gets five stars!
