Absolutely Perfect! Extremely nice staff and the sandwiches are kick ass. I had the apple cheddar bacon and I think I finished it in like 3 min! I highly recommend this place!

The sandwich is tiny for $ 7.00 and barely no meat, and the chip selection sucks, no baked chips at all. I can get a sandwich at dibellas for double the size and more meat for the same price and it’s only a few minutes away. The sandwich did taste good. Where’s the meat?

I’ve tried both the pesto chicken and the Cubano panini today. They were both okay. Chicken was a bit dry and the Cubano was a bit off from what I’m used to. The staff was really kind though. She was the only one working so I give her credit fly that. There are a few more sandwiches I’d like to try. I’ll give them the chance to hook me

We get take out from Swiches quite a lot. I prefer their sandwiches to Subway or other similar chains.

Great sandwiches. they use all Boars Head meat which is good. It seemed a little weird because I think the owners are running the sandwich shop and the donut shop right next door. Under $ 11 for a sandwich, soda, and a bag of chips. Also grabbed a medium coffee in a donut next door after lunch and it was 375. eh

Sandwiches here are amazing. The staff is always friendly and the service is great. If you like subway you would love swiches.

This is a much needed alternative to subway. They have good Boar’s Head meats and the bread is always fresh. The specialty sandwiches and paninis are all worth trying, I love her apple bacon panini. The employees are friendly enough and it’s connected inside to The Whole Donut so you can cross the door to get a donut for dessert. The sandwiches and soups are good. There’s not much to say about Swiches, it’s not very unique but what it does, it does well. It is a bit pricier than subway though, or can expect to pay about $ 15 for a specialty sandwich and a drink.

Very good alternative to a chain sandwich shop. My boyfriend and I were estate sale-ing the crap out of this past weekend and needed some nourishment mid-way through the day. After driving by Swiches, I realized it sounded familiar(thanks for Jason M’s recent ROTD) and promptly turned around to check it out. Nick ordered and quickly demolished the California BLT which came loaded with turkey, Swiss, tomato, avocado, bacon and honey mustard. I went with a meatless option, indeed aptly named the Meatless Panini: huge, fresh hunks of mozzarella, melted jack, fresh spinach(somehow not even wilted despite the melted cheese), sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and avocado. Whatever genius came up with this creation should be my new best friend. No frills, counter service, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms. Also, the shop adjoins a doughnut shop which seems very, very dangerous for regulars and passersby alike.

Just got done DESTROYING an Apple Cheddar Bacon. Boar’s Head ham, sliced cheddar, bacon, and an entire mandolin-cut apple on a 7-inch sub roll. $ 5.65, $ 6 even with tax. Bangin’. Who says there’s no good food in Berlin? Well, everyone… Berlin itself is not exactly a mecca for amazing food, save for a handful of restaurants. But this place is «I’ll never go to Subway again» good. In all seriousness, if this place will cost you 75 cents more for food that is 75 times better, how does Subway, 100 feet down the road, even survive? Widespread ignorance, that’s how. And I was one of them too. The constructive criticism — They REALLY need to change their hours. Open till 11 – 7 on weekdays, Saturdays 8 – 3, closed on Sundays. That makes little sense for a sandwich place. Go 10 – 3 on Saturday and Sundays, and close at 6 Monday and Tuesday… Only one more man-hour of labor, and you’ll get a lot more business… People want sandwiches on Sundays.

Chicken pesto panini was just okay, but the people working there were very friendly and it was very clean. The same family who operates Swiches also operates the Whole Donut next door. I would have had a better sandwich at Subway with my coupon.

YUMMYINMYTUMMY! They have delightful breakfast sandwiches here! I get them heathy as hell and they have everything that I could ever hope for… egg white, swiss cheese, rye bread, fresh assortment of veggies… toasted on the griddle… YESOHYESINDEED! I have yet to try their lunch sandwiches but I am sure I will not be disappointed. Very nice staff and clean! The only downfall is that they are closed on Sundays.

I ate here while waiting to stalk a train at the Berlin Amtrak station down the road — yes, I’m a railfan foamer dork — BUTANYWAY… Swiches is like Subway/Quizno’s, ect, but fresher. They have real deli meats, fresh avocado — not that bagged glop at Subway — and all around delicious. A little more expensive than Subway, but you most definitely get what you pay for!

Cute little place that makes everything fresh. The prices seem reasonable for what I ordered-apple cheddar bacon on a wrap. They also have a good selection of non-soda drinks.

Great little sandwich shop! I get the Apple Cheddar Bacon Sandwich or Tunamelt Panini with jalapeño peppers and onions! Super friendly! Go here and not the chain down the street!

Nice change of pace from sandwich chains. It’s refreshing to have your avocado scooped out of a shell rather than squeezed out of a bag. Nice, fresh, and generous sandwiches. Friendly staff. Hours limited though, and when the locals camp out at the Whole Donut next door, parking can be an issue.

Really great sandwich spot! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh because they are prepared the morning of. It is a nice relaxing environment. The paninis and hot sandwiches are highly recommended!

Nice, clean little place with a VERY friendly staff and some quality ingredients. Do yourself a favor and eat here instead of subway or blimpie if you’re in the area looking for a quick sandwich. They have boars head meat that they slice to order, a good variety of breads and wraps, and fresh veggies(including fresh avocados instead of that gross avocado squirt bottle green slop that subway uses). They have some options on the menu of course(I usually go for the Turkey Avocado wrap), but you can always build a custom sandwich with anything they have, and the prices are reasonable. One of my favorite lunch locations in the Berlin area!

This place opened not too long ago where the old«Baltic» restaurant used to be. It is very clean and the staff friendly. They have your basic sandwich block as well as hot grinders and panini’s. I’ve been 3 or 4 times and have always ordered the panini’s — I love a hot sandwich with the slightly crispy bread after its been in the maker. They always seem to slice the meat to order… I love the cheese steak panini… and have made up my own pastrami panini with tomato, 1000 island, grilled onions, and provolone cheese. Yum. Its a privately owned family business and they are very sweet! I think the panini’s are a little expensive for the size, but the products are high quality and have always been very fresh and tasty! Give this place a shot and support one of the few local restaurants in Berlin… that is not PIZZA!
