History

Established in 1981.

Dr. Christophe Dean has been in continuous practice since graduating Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1975. He first started in a rural practice in the «Thumb» of Michigan and moved into Oakland County in 1980. The chiropractors at Dean Chiropractic Serve Oakland County including Berkley, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Beverly Hills and surrounding area. Our emphasis is on back pain, joint pain and those injuries that make movement painful and difficult. We work with a wide variety of professional and amateur athletes to maximize performance and give a winning edge. We are certified in the 2 leading low force chiropractic techniques including methods to relieve the pain of herniated discs and spinal stenosis. We incorporate Low Level Laser therapy to rapidly deal with pain and speed tissue repair to get you back to your game in the shortest period of time.

Dr. Dean has been in practice since 1976. He was introduced to Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique In 1978 and now teaches this state-​of-​the-​art procedure to doctors around the country. He has also trained with Dr. James Cox, developer of Cox Flexion/​Distraction Technique and is certified in that method as well.

While his patients come from all walks of life, Dr. Dean’s practice has been particularly popular with performers and athletes. «My daughter was a figure skater and I treated her team mates for various skating-​related injuries,» recalls Dr. Dean. «This developed into a focus for my practice.»

He has helped performers in the touring casts of Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Mamma Mia. He has also treated NHL players and nationally recognized recording artists.

Dr. Dean was named the Michigan Association of Chiropractors’ «Chiropractor of the Year.» In 2011 he was appointed to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic by Gov. Rick Snyder.
