Berkley Eyewear

I took my daughter to Berkley Eyewear today for her first pair of glasses. Lisa, the owner, was nothing less than fantastic with us. Having her there to help was wonderful considering my 11 year old can be a tad picky. My daughter ended up choosing the perfect pair of Ray-​Bans. The pair she chose is exactly what I would have wanted for her, but since I am just «mom», I couldn’t possibly know what’s cool. Lisa, however, had suggested them, and complimented how wonderfully they enhance her features (which they truly do). Not only was shopping there like shopping with a friend that I have known for years, but the price could not be beat! Add to it the fact that it’s a local business, and you have the recipe for a perfect shopping experience. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I liked the place so much that I would work there. It was so serene, hip and comfortable. There was also a lovely fragrance-​was it Lisa’s perfume? Or some sort of air freshener? Who cares, it was nice! I promise that you will not be disappointed if you visit this establishment

Can’t say I’ve encountered a business that will have glasses made, but Does Not Do Eye Exams.
You bring your prescription & choose some frames, that’s what they do. If the place where you get your eye exam done doesn’t have a good selection of cute frames (which is common), it’s nice to know you have an alternative.

Needed new glasses for my husband. We like to shop local so this was our first stop. And our last stop. Within 10 minutes, we had found a pair of glasses that he liked! YAY! The owner was super nice and helpful. She even had toys for our little one to play with while we shopped — awesome!
I highly recommend that you give this place a try! Great selection and you can feel good about supporting a local business. :)

I purchased my 2^nd pair of glasses from Lisa at Berkley Eyewear. She does such a nice job helping you select just the right frames. After fighting «progressives» for so long; Lisa was finally able to talk me into them. I couldn’t be happier! I love my frames; and I love the selection she carries. AND I am a HUGE supporter of local businesses. She is an «owner/​operator» so the money you spend stays local. I strongly recommend!

It’s important to show some love for local businesses, so here I am, taking a step away from the usual foodie stuff, in order to fill you in on a recently opened place to pick up a new pair of glasses.
Their customer service, selection and prices are unbeatable.
Customer service – friendly, knowledgeable, willing to hang out and answer all your questions.
Selection – great frames. Lots of styles. Hipster, conservative, and everything in between.
Prices – low prices without gimmicks, coupons, bait & switch. They don’t mark up the product – just to bring the price back down.
So after checking out a couple of the big chains, I ordered my new pair of glasses at Berkley Eyewear. Will follow up, once I pick them up.
