Seems like a nice place with good prices. I got a large Boba Milk Tea and it was very tasty. Seemed like a kind of skimpy amount of boba for such a large amount of tea, but it really was a very large drink!

Went here on a Thursday night since it seemed to be a new boba place. Be sure to go to the left side of the counter to order since the right side is for people who want to eat at Pepper King. The prices right now are actually lower than the official ones listed on the menu since there was a little post-it on one of the small menus specifying the current lower prices(although their opening special apparently ended in August, they still have discounted prices). I ordered the largest size of the lychee green tea with 0% ice and 25% sugar. It was a generous amount, but had a weak flavor and was likely quite watered down(even taking into account the low sweetness that I selected, it definitely tasted more watery than most other boba places I’ve been too). $ 10 minimum charge for credit cards if I remember correctly. I’d recommend you go elsewhere for boba on south side of campus.

I’d give it a 2.5 because of the friendly service, but I couldn’t give it a full 3 especially when you have so much better choices nearby. Came in after dinner for a sweet treat. The lady at the counter was sweet and friendly, however, it did take 15 minutes for our order to come out. I guess it was just 2 folks manning the counter for both Pepper King and TTea. The tea itself was just ok. I got the jasmine green tea with sea salt cream, which was an inferior take on the Gong Cha green tea milk foam. The strawberry yogurt smoothie was too sweet, even my sweets and strawberry-loving daughter didn’t couldn’t finish half of it. The taro smoothie fared a little better. All in all, I’d walk the extra 2 – 3 blocks to get to Sharetea for a $ 4 drink.

TTea shares space with Pepper King(Happy Valley before). floor space for the eatery has really shrunk. no more open kitchen. canopy or canvas covers the kitchen.(must be hella hot in there!) drink: earl grey milk(sm. 2.50) noticed regular price 2.75, no sugar reguested, ice level not adusted. –no earl grey tea tasted at all, milk bland too. just ice was cool. –shoulda gone with earl gray tea only 2ish stars. drips: –all small drinks 2.5 –standard boba menu, crema too –service at cashier counter, service ok, drink not up to par –college age male students working here.

It is my second time to be here. It’s such a great idea to share place with Pepper King so that when I have spicy food, I can enjoy milk tea at the same time. First I tried jasmine milk tea and it was definitely the best favor. Moreover, it is cheaper than other store. Today I tried egg honey juicy. It’s amazing to know that it gets real egg inside. I will be here next time when I want to have another drink

Time: 2:13pm/73°F sunny Purpose: Just finish a meal at same location, Pepper King. This was the place I initially wanted to hit up, but stay and ate a meal next door also. Ambiance: Place is share with PK, but has a side business. Two electronic menu board one with pictures other with prices. Front counter with menu so small squinting eyes can hardly see it. All seating/tables and tv’s are share among the two businesses. Listed menu inserted between table and glass top. Ad board out front list daily and promotional specials. Staff: One girl about early 20s very quiet no greetings or even look up. Face planted on mobile app FB. I step up to order said its for here. Told her I just finished my food. She said, «I don’t care» in a tone that I didn’t like. Brought drink back to same table sat for another 10 minutes. Not sure why lady A didn’t talk with lady B of PK. May be if I leave those two will yap away. Cleanliness: Grade B, front counter disorganized with stain menu hung crooked. Sidewalk advertising board with writing fading away by the day. Sticky fly traps hung in plain view without any effort to conceal it. Eats/Drinks: Jasmine green tea crema $ 2.50 as I had to mention the price difference of $ 1. She wanted $ 3.50, I pointed out look at the board? She then said alright $ 2.50 price was for grand opening. I said it’s your job to follow up before opening the doors for the day. Ok, on to the drink. It was real fresh brew tea done perfectly. Even the 25% sweetness level she follow through. So far a good drink no complaints. As I sip away the top crema started sinking, its natural for that to happen. When it got to the bottom, it tasted alright, but it also produced a odor. Probably crema was kept next to food in fridge absorbing the odor. A drink like this is worth no more than $ 2. At the regular $ 3.50 its overpriced. Do something about it, before it becomes talk of town. Main Features: Dessert and specialty drinks. Products/Services: See posted pictures for better understanding. Select sweetness and ice level. Grand opening special of $ 2.50 for all small and $ 4/for all super size. Coming soon: Shaved ice, alcoholic milk tea, rainbow toast, ice cream macaron by Maven’s of SJCA. Cash only. Punch Lines: Snooty service, good flavor, modest price, loyalty card, share seating, kitschy décor, nothing out of the ordinary, high usage of fly traps. Tradeoffs: Don’t let the sign draw you in for a drink then gets you to eat next door. TTea is set up like that to make up for slower times at the PK side. Final Thoughts: Time and time like I said before. Seems like the only way to make a profit is to own boba or yogurt place these days. Now a days any old shack with a little elbow grease can be turn in to a boba place overnight. The next place that opens up with share location, I’ll pass.

My friend told me to try their taro milk tea, which I did. Woww, it’s simply blowed my mind. It tastes so good and the price is very reasonable. If you live around or come by this area, you should give it a try because it’s ridiculously tasty. I came here in the right time since they do happy hours from 2−6pm. Trust me, these guys are capable of what they do. Will definitely come back next time.

Came here in a very hot day, ordered a medium jasmine milk tea with boba which is huge and only $ 3.50! They are located inside a chinese restaurant called pepper king, nice interior and seems pretty busy there. The drink was very tasty, rich taste and chewy boba! Love it! Will come back with some friends next time
