Surja has helped me make some big changes in my life and I will be forever grateful that I met her! I’ve seen Surja several times, but it was this one session that was the magic that I needed. After that session, I gained self-​esteem and became assertive & lost a ton of weight. Those things have all been life-​changing for me; I will never revert to being my old-​self. It’s hard to really describe what Surja’s practice has meant to my life in a short review, but I’ll try. Like other significant, magical interventions of fate one might experience in life, I found her when I was 25 and losing my father to terminal cancer.
From the start, the alchemical hypnosis was a transformational experience/​process for me in learning how to deal with the situation with my father as well as become aware of how my past trauma affected me, and I got to a point where I felt I had no regrets or unprocessed feelings when he passed 7 months later, and I’m forever thankful to Surja for the incredible guidance, and to myself for being willing to put in the work.
Maybe the analogy of peeling layers (the trauma or past) off an onion might describe what can happen with the mind and body during and after her sessions, or shedding old skin… today I had the thought that an old fear/​anxiety response I have from time to time is like a trapped air bubble finally coming out. Release of old, trapped energy might be the most accurate single description of the practice. But most amazingly, this exchange has cultivated an awareness in me that I never would’ve thought possible, almost a new language in which I can both mentally and verbally contextualize the experience of life, the sad, scary, exciting, joyous, mundane, etc. The resulting healing and ability to focus on what is real, contributes to trust, compassion, action, patience, understanding, and is an antidote to fear, an aligning of oneself with their true nature, perhaps like a spiritual chiropractic adjustment.
Whatever state or condition one is in, this is where I feel she is incredibly gifted– she has the unique combination of wholistic intelligence, compassion and for holding the space to help so many people in such in such a supported and guided way. Because our sessions were so effective for me, I guess I could’ve stopped going after a year, but I sensed there was more to explore, and here 7 years later, although it’s more in a check in frequency, I still find her insight and support helps me breakthrough with challenges that come up now in my early 30’s. I highly recommend Surja!

I have seen Surja four times, and she has been a Godsend (or Goddess-​send) in my life. She is at once a skilled and intuitive healer, and an incredibly generous, genuine, caring person, which is a perfect combination. I have been to a number of healers and do healing work myself, and the way she integrates counseling, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, shamanic journeying, and bodywork is amazing. Starting with what a discussion of where I am right now and what I want out of the session, we then journey back in time (it could be this lifetime or another) to see what created the belief/​block, provide me and/​or others involved with the missing experience we didn’t have at the time, get help/​messages from guides, and do energetic clearing. Very powerful! All that combined with incredible, authentic compassion!!! I can’t recommend her enough.

Surja is the best, she can help in so many ways (including figuring out health-​related problems related to diet, medications, etc.). Highest recommendation.

As a result of my sessions with Surja my life has change completely. I’ve struggled with nicotine addiction for years, I didn’t think I’d ever quit but after a few sessions I am completely smoke free! Additionally as a result of our sessions a whole new world has opened up for me, I’ve found a new level of confidence and commitment to my health & well being. It’s all been said but I’ll say it again… Surja is amazing! I’ve been working on health challenges and even though I do plenty of therapy and personal growth work, Surja manages to take me to deeper places than I’d gone before.

This woman is a true healer. I am dealing with breast cancer and she’s been an important part of my healing. It’s hard for me to explain my sessions with her because they sort of transcend normal descriptors. I recommend you don’t make plans for an hour or two after her sessions and just give yourself time to think and meditate on what just happened.

After years of basic therapies, I met Surja in 2000 and she changed my life! She is warm and authentic, friendly and loving. Through a combination of bodywork, hypnotherapy and talk therapy, she has moved me from places of confusion and despair, to joyful, peaceful and fulfilled states of being. Surja’s approach is unique as she can be everything from a great listener in traditional talk therapy, or if you have had it with that approach, she can take you to REAL places in your body and subconscious making the changes at the «root» cause. The changes have been everlasting thus far and she has provided me with the tools to manage through hard times in my own life now… in other words, while she is always there for me, I also know now how to care for my own body and mind and move myself from those «darker» and uncomfortable places into peace, comfort and happiness on my own. In a few words, I love her!

I went to Surja to try some hypnotherapy and acupressure. She came as a recommendation from a friend at work. The experience was one that I still mentally refer to and I wouldn’t hesitate going back if I identified a specific need for it.
