Went in looking for pzi jeans (jeans made for curvy women). Pzi jeans were available, but not in any style I liked. The owner was kind enough to take my phone number & the style of jeans I was looking for in order to notify me when it is in her store. Very good & friendly customer service. Will definately will go back and recommand to friends

Sheila has the BEST clothing for women of ALL sizes. Not only are the clothes BADD, but this is a Black-​American owned business in Berkeley. I’m a happy gurl!!!

The shop is quaint but I loved the selection. Not what you would find easily elsewhere but still on trend. Also, the prices are really reasonable — I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability. Finally, there’s the biggest deal in my opinion… a welcoming environment and customer service with a smile. I’ll definitely shop again.

I found this little hidden boutique just by chance while walking to go study at Au Coquelet and I had to go in. The clothes and accessories are very feminine and stylish. I think that there is something for everyone there. The prices are good and the service isreally friendly. I felt at home and the owner was very helpful in answering questions and making suggestions. I love all my clothes and jewelry I got there!

Wow! these stylish clothes do come cheap! and yes, they are strictly savvy!
There is not a single garment I didn’t like. I bought a cute top and jewelery for $ 34. The very stylish wedges were only $ 10 a pair. And I must say they were the cutest pair I set my eyes on. My feet is oddly shaped and the arch wsn’t right for this shoe. But I sure wish every woman had a pair of these beauties.
The bags, coats, jackets– and a very chirpy and friendly owner make this a must visit boutique. It’s really hard to find as it’s quite tiny and my friends and me have passed by it several times without noticing it. But, now we are fans for life. I am gonna buy myself a pair of clothes every month simply coz I love the collection and trust the owners knowledge in clothes.

I normally don’t write review on clothing stores since everyone has there own favorites but after visiting the Strictly Savvy Boutique I felt I had to write a review since it’s off the main college drag and is definitely not to be missed.
This small Boutique is just off University Ave on Melvin St, two blocks off Shattuck and includes some of he better fashions I have ever seen. The owner is very «Savvy» on her apparel selections and finds one of a kind unique pieces to fill her small but beauiful shop. What’s the big deal? The whole store is affordable! I got a black satin dress, belt and silk jacket will hand sewn studs for $ 36! I was amazed and actually asked her if she was well and did she have a fever… how can she afford to sell things so cheaply? Her answer was it does take time to find lines that are chic and affordable but that’s my main goal. Great Fashion does not need to be expensive. Espesially in todays economy!
So this is why I knew I needed o help out our fellow Unilocalers find this amazing Strictly Savvy Boutique. She’s open Tues-​Sat 1 – 7 right now and has only been at this location for 3 mths. So whether you need jeans, dresses, shoes or coats… this boutique should definitely be on you list… afford and chic-​now that’s what I have been waiting for!

What a GREAT Oakland boutique! The shop is stylish and very spacious; even the fitting rooms are huge. The owner and her daughter provided very helpful and friendly service. I ended up having a half hour conversation about this and that with them even though we had met only a few minutes ago. I felt right at home. Most importantly, I found the perfect pair of jeans after many years of hunting. Ladies, I strongly suggest you look them up if you are looking for great fitting jeans. The have the ones that were made for women with real curves!
