Great service, great food, and happy hour is well worth it during a long week of classes.

Do not eat. I was vomiting for the past 30 hrs I just got food poisoning from this place. My wife and I did a home delivery which we have done in the past with this company. She did not eat any of the beef. Which I did.

Small inside. However, the staff was really attentive. They had great Happy Hour specials. Went there due to having a Groupon. Food was amazing!!! Good beer too! Will definitely visit again! Great place!

First time here and I loved it!!! Came in on a Friday night after work, luckily it was happy hour surprised they offered bottomless cocktails, so you know I ordered it! The service was awesome! Super attentive and super nice. They gave us a sample of every happy hour drink, which was great! The food… Was… amazing! We had the BBQ pull pork bro fries, sticky wings and bravocado and big kahuna slider. EVERYTHING was delicious! Couldn’t have asked for a better date night bar to stumble across. We will def be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

So maybe I’m not a burger snob, but I loved it! I ordered a nice IPA, and my sliders came out medium rare, I mean it was great! I ordered the 3-Alarm because I’m Indian and when people tell me to order at my own risk, then I know it will taste normal to me. The sliders were super spicy which was perfect! I guess I appreciate it a little bit more because back when I went to Berkeley(yea, I just said one of those ‘old uncle’ lines), I never had all these booming restaurants. That honestly, that’s a good thing because I already had my fair share of the Freshman 15(25 in my case). It was a great spot right before I went to go see Florence and the Machine… oh…my love! She is amazing! I had a blast watching her. Okay… I digressed… The bartender, a cute girl with hot leopard pants was SUPER friendly. Like I think I’ve said before, I’m a sucker for friendly customer service. It’s also a great place to watch sports. I forget what was on. But everyone was excited.

My boyfriend and I are both Berkeley students and have passed by Sliderbar a numerous amount of times, but we’ve never been inclined to try it. We finally came here for lunch since we had a groupon to use. The restaurant was fairly empty for lunch around 2PM on a weekday. Self-seating. We each got a 2-slider lunch combo of which includes two sliders, crispy Belgian fries, and a choice of one of their dipping sauces for $ 11.95 each. Some specialty sliders tack on an extra dollar to the base price; there’s also the option to upgrade the fries to garlic fries or sweet potato fries for an additional $ 1 – 2. The combo comes with just one dipping sauce but if you want more, they’re 50 cents each. My boyfriend got the Double Down and the Hot Chick slider while I got the Bravocado and the BBQ pulled pork slider, which were both okay in taste. I found the Bravocado slider, which was a chicken patty with avocado paste, to be a bit dry while the BBQ pulled pork slider was a tad salty for my liking. I would have preferred it to be sweeter. The Double down was your basic double beef patty double cheese burger and actually was the best tasting. Also, although the menu said the fries would be «Begian Crispy fries», both of us found the fries to be overly crispy. Overall, for the price of everything, I found Sliderbar to be just okay. If I have another groupon, I would return, but otherwise I’d prefer Bongo Burger down the street.

This tiny spot is definitely a diamond in the rough when it comes to bars/eateries in Berkley. From the outside it kind of gives that divey bar feel but it has outdoor seating and an awesome happy hour. We actually stopped by here twice in one day we enjoyed it so much. The first time was for a libation in the afternoon and to do some sidewalk people watching. The server was really friendly and laid back and really attentive. My partner had the Trumer Pilsner and he loved it. It was a recommendation from the server. We came back for dinner because every other place in the area was packed and we couldn’t get in anywhere. They had room out on the front sidewalk area once again so we found a seat and checked out the menu. The same server came out and remembered what we had ordered earlier and brought out our drinks promptly. We ordered the Double Trouble Slider and the fries with pork and sauce(can’t remember what they were called). Holy smokes the food was great. The sliders were cooked to perfection and the beef was high quality. The fries were thick and crispy. The pork fries… oh em gee! So so good. I could barely finish 1⁄3 of the plate and hated leaving them behind. They were excellent. There was a ton of pork and bacon pieces and sauce. They weren’t drowning but just the right amount of everything in that combo. Perfect pre-concert dinner. We will definitely be back.

This place was good, overall not great. We stopped in for some beers before the Cal/USC game since we knew everywhere would packed an hour before kick off and they had open tables. The beer was good and they had decent options, not sure about the food since we didn’t eat and there is only 1 bathroom so there was a constant line waiting. But overall the staff was friendly, even dressed up for Halloween.

A bit pricey but if you get the groupon deal it’s not too bad(basically $ 8 off). We tried the sticky wings, bison slider, bravocado slider(with chicken), big kahuna slider and double patty slider. All were very good and honestly I was full after one slider and a few wings. 1 order of wings(6pcs), 1 beer and 4 sliders will cost you around $ 40 – 45 which feeds 2. It was cool to try it out but I think $ 5.50-$ 6.95 is quite a bit to charge for a mini slider. $ 3.50 is more like it.

Just not worth it. The sliders I had were good, just about 25% over-priced. A nice selection of beers on tap and the food was tasty, but the idea of paying the price of a full-sized burger for a cute little slider eludes me. It was lunchtime and I was the only customer, service was somewhere between adequate and indifferent. Not bad, just not very good.

To sum up the review in one sentence: go to Phil’s Sliders instead. The sliders here are dramatically overpriced(combo with 2 sliders and fries is $ 13) and are not near the same quality as Phil’s right down the street on Shattuck. I had the All-American burger with bacon and cheddar and the lamb burger with olives, feta, and artichokes. The beef slider was mediocre and the lamb left a lot to be desired; it was undercooked and tough. The fries and sauce were the best part of the meal, but the side dishes can only do so much to save the main entrée. Luckily, I was able to avoid paying full price($ 36 for two) by using a Groupon. Even with it being heavily discounted, I will not be back.

Keep trying to like this place, but every time I go the vibe is just«meh», the food is okay but not great, and the bill is always twice as much as I think. Just nothing special about this place except for the location, and now that there’s a Super Duper Burger across the intersection that has better food, better energy, half the price, and boozy milkshakes, I’m just done w/Sliderbar. Especially since I walked past last night and the sign said they were closed for rodent infestation. I get it, it’s an old city and things happen that they can’t help, but in this case, since I wasn’t in love with the place to begin with to put it mildly, this was the straw that broke the camel’s back. PLEASE let the next restaurant that takes over this space be a Korean BBQ…

I came here with my(over 21) friends because it was one of the few places that would let my underage ass in after 8PM. \\ FOOD/DRINK QUALITY: My friends and I each ordered a single slider and got an order of family-sized sweet potato fries to share. They also got beer and sangria, while I opted for water. The food was pretty average, nothing really worth mentioning. \\ SERVICE: The service was a little slow, especially since the waiters seemed to have forgotten about us while we waited for our check, but we let it go since it’s kind of a sports bar and there was a super important Warriors game going on at the time. I will give props for how nice they were, though! The waitress brought our fries pretty late(we had already finished our sliders and had been waiting for a while) and before we said anything, she said she noticed that the fries seemed a little burnt, so they were sending over another batch. So we got to gorge on two orders of family-sized fries, neither of which was really burnt at all. My friend was also brought the wrong beer, which they corrected immediately. \\ ENVIRONMENT: It was a cozy atmosphere and everyone was really friendly. A good place to watch an exciting sports game and drink. All in all, it’s a decent place to hang out and eat with friends!

Modern bar feel with good food and decent beers on tap and wine based cocktails. Def a fun place to bring people. Killer happy hour including the king of specials: $ 4 off every pitcher and it comes with free garlic fries. I got the Morning Wrap, not really a slider but a whole wheat wrap with egg, avo, tomato and cheese and maybe some other stuff but it was crazy good and likely your best vegetarian option. Points knocked because they don’t know how to pour a beer. Constantly spooning off the head into a glass a perfect beer does not make. Where the heck did this technique come from?

Took my family here for Dinner Club night and was so disappointed. After reading reviews for this restaurant I was so excited to give it a try but it did not meet my expectations at all. The food was lackluster and just lukewarm after a 30 minute wait to be served. And worse than the food was the service. There were two servers and a bartender(we sat at the bar) and were never given water or napkins, etc. Catching their attention to ask for anything was nearly impossible. I ordered the 3 slider combo with the Rueben, the pulled pork, and the American burger with truffle fries. Barely warm, strange sauce on the pulled pork, truffle fries were just meh… I prefer YardHouse! By no means was this meal worth the $ 25 I spent that night, I definitely won’t be returning.

So I won a $ 20 gift card for Sliderbar a while back and was finally able to put it good use. Burrito Boy and I stopped by spontaneously for an early Sunday lunch, and we both ordered a lunch combo. For $ 11.95, you can pick two sliders and a side. Some sliders like the Big Kahuna are +$ 1, and you can also upgrade the side from regular fries, mixed greens, or the soup of the day to sweet potato fries, truffle fries, ceasar salad, or garlic fries for a price. Darn you Sliderbar, giving us so many options! Our combos: Big Kahuna, Hot Chick, regular fries + roasted garlic aioli Big Kahuna, Red and Gold Reuben, sweet potato fries + sriracha mayo Overall a pretty tasty joint. The Big Kahuna beef slider with its bacon, pineapple, and roasted red peppers was our mutual favorite! It was as hearty as sliders can get. My chicken Hot Chick was spicy and good, but kinda had a strange taste to it. Couldn’t put my finger on it though. The R&G was a solid choice too. Honestly, the main reason I’d come back would be to take advantage of happy hour(M-Sun 3−7PM) for booze and the $ 4.95 sides. While the sliders are pricey yet not mind blowing, our fries and sauces were super delicious. Those sweet potato fries are a must! Such a perfect combination of crispy, sweet and savory goodness.

Me and my friends decided to stop by here after the flavor of the day at sliver was unappealing, and I’m glad we did. Food: I got the bravacado chicken sliders which is a garlic and chicken patty with avocado and chipotle sauce. I thought it was very dry and the sauce didn’t save it. For almost thirteen dollars I would hope that my burger would be cooked correctly. The garlic fries with sauces were super tasty. I think the next time I go I’ll forego the burgers and just have the fries. Drinks: we split a pitcher of the red basil sangria. The waitress was incredibly nice and brought is glasses of sangria while we were waiting for the pitcher to arrive. The sangria was good, not the best sangria I’ve ever had but no one complained. Pros: excellent service, tasty and unique drinks, the dipping sauces for the fries are also very satisfying. Cons: the price is kind of a let down when you actually see how much food you’re getting. If you’re getting sliders and drinks expect to drop at least twenty. The meat in the sliders tends toward dryness.

After a disappointing Big Game, my daughter and I sought refuge at Sliderbar. We lucked out getting a table outside while the rush of fans made their way towards the BART station. Things started looking up as it was happy hour, so we ordered a bunch of items off the $ 4.95 menu — parmesan truffle fries, meatballs, sticky wings and a slider. Everything was delish with the exception of the sticky wings. They were some of the smallest chicken wings I’ve ever seen and didn’t really have a crispy sweet bite that I was looking for. The fries on the other hand were perfect, as were the meatballs. I thought it was weird, as did our server, that the special slider of the day was a veggie patty, with bacon. Wait, what? While the food was good, service was a bit off. Our order was taken quickly and food came out pretty timely, but then we were stuck for a long time waiting for them to come by with the check. Once the check came, they disappeared again, so I ended up leaving cash instead of charging it like I wanted to just so we could leave. I think I would try it again when I’m in the area. I just hope it doesn’t drag at the end again. Though if someone else is buying, then I’m all in. Just sayin.

I’m in Downtown Berkeley all the time and it took me a long time to finally try this place. It’s a decent place with a wide variety of burgers, but lacking in some fundamentals, like proper beef patty preparation. The beef sliders are a bit drier than I’d like, but they do a pretty good job with the fried chicken sliders. The fries are pretty great, especially with their secret sauce.

Review based solely on happy hour. We ordered a pitcher of beer, the buffalo wings and the sticky wings. With any pitcher, comes these delicious garlic fries with a sprinkle of crack in them. Seriously. These are perfectly fried and not TOOO garlicky. There’s a nice aioli that compliments it quite well. The buffalo fries were standard. We actually enjoyed the sticky fries more! The sticky fries have a bit of a kick to them in terms of heat, yet there’s also a creaminess. Service was friendly. We sat outside since it was a bit warmer inside. The only thing is that there were tons of flies near the door. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area and looking to grab a snack and drink! Also, this restaurant only serves beer and wine. So the«cocktails» have no hard liquor in them.
