I first started out in San Francisco. I was open for 8 years, then moved to Maui for 5 Years. I came back to the bay area and re-​opened since 2008.

I first started my business in 1996, when there were just a handful of dog walkers around. I put fliers up on telephone poles By 1998 my business was booming! I had a lot of dot comers as customers and then when we had the 2001 dot-​com crash, some of those customers became competitors. Then when I came back after a 5 yr. hiatus in Maui, ex-​realtors became my competitors after the housing market crash. I couldn’t believe how many people became dog walkers! I learned how to take care of dogs thru books, other dog walkers, trainers, and the dogs themselves. People always ask me why I left paradise to come back here. and tell them because if your not doing what you love, than your not in paradise…
