I purchased a collar for my son’s dog over five years ago. I didn’t fit; that was my fault, I gave the wrong measurements, and my son had already purchased a collar so I asked if i could exchange for a different size/​design for one of my own dogs. Paco Collars did so with no hassle or cost to me. Fast forward to now and my dog has outgrown her collar. Once again, Paco Collars graciously made an extender and, again, at no cost to me. My girl LOVES her collar. I know these collars are pricey but they really are made to last and look beautiful for a lifetime and you can’t ask for better customer service. I have four dogs and a cat and I my only regret is that I’m not currently in a position to buy a Paco Collar for ALL of them.

I have been dreaming of these collars for over 2 years. And today, I had the most wonderful in person experience there. I took all three of my rescue dogs into Paco today for some new bling!!!
I was completely over whelmed with the wonderful selection of sizes, widths, designs, studs, colors and combinations you can choose from.
A wonderful associate named, Yovanny sat down and spent over 2 hours with me helping me construct the perfect design and fit for my 3 different sized dogs. He had tremendous patience and interacted well with my «Muttley Crew».
These collars also come with a lifetime gaurentee. If a stone or stud falls out, they will fix it at no extra charge. If you live out of the area, I also heard they will pay shipping on repairs too.
If you are nuts about your dog. And are in the Berkeley area, then you must check these guys out!!!

Style/​selection is somewhat limited though.
Also the price point was pretty high. When we were in Italy this past summer we briefly considered getting a leather collar/​leash set for our pup. Now I wish I did because the price here made Italian leather look extremely reasonable.
Our dog is mid-​sized so we were looking at 1 – 1.25(?)inch collars, and they ranged from $ 100-​$ 150ish.

Hank absolutely loves his «Muggy» Paco collar (and matching leash), he won’t let anyone take it off without wrestling first! It took about a week to get the set after I placed my order and when I opened the package I was blown away by the quality. We live in Huntington Beach, CA and he plays in the ocean everyday for hours and it still looks amazing. Hank loves all the attention his collar gets and we never get tired of hearing «WOW!!!».

I’ve had Paco Collar envy for a very long time. Beautifully made, high quality dog collars. We took advantage of a Facebook sale and purchased collars for all three of our dogs. Each collar design and colors fit the individual dog’s personality.
Fast forward a few months — our dogs have been watching their weight (we’ve helped them do so) and have been successful in losing a few pounds. We stopped by Paco to see if they could make some size adjustment to each collar which they did with each dog in attendance. I knew it would be much prettier if they did it, instead of me! At the time of purchase we didn’t realize that the collars have a life time guarantee but are thrilled with this complimentary service. You get what you pay for and quality reins supreme.

Best collars EV-​ER! I decided to go to the shop as opposed to buying a collar through the website. There were so many options available it was just so much easier to be right next to the person who would make my collar and see all the components together. Best service I have ever had in my life for something that is completely made-​to-​order. I brought my dog with me who had recently had surgery and the gentleman who helped me was nice enough to put a gate up in case any other dogs came in while we were there. The shop smelled AMAZING! I know the fresh real leather isn’t a smell for just anyone but I loved it, my husband was picking up and smelling collars the whole time we we’re there. I was told there may be a delay getting my collar as the had an event coming up to prepare for but my collar arrived in just 2 weeks! I was expecting to wait much later. When the collar showed up it was GORGEOUS and you can see the great quality and craftsmanship. I will definitely be getting these collars for any other pets I have throughout the years. They’re beautiful and durable.

We ordered two custom collars for our frenchies. The staff, including the owner, we’re so friendly, knowledgeable, and paid very close attention to the small details. The collars were so beautiful when we picked them up that we bought 2 more! Thank you Anna and Geovanni!

shocked by all these reviews. these guys are literally the worst i have dealt with. I bring my belt in to have it re-​sized, called first. They said, no problem. The woman said she could have it done in 30 minutes.
fast forward 10 days later. no call, no 30 minutes, no nothing. try to call the shop myself, lines are disconnected. great. send an email through the website, get a response — opps, we messed up your contact info, belt is ready come and get it.
drive all the way to berkeley, get there… nope, not ready. no one had done a damn thing to it. no resize, no buckle replacement, nothing. but they sure did charge my credit card.
basically, it’s a bunch of teenagers bedazzling dog collars. i was under the impression that they were leather crafts people, at least that’s what they told me. but, no — very little experience with leather, unable to do basics of seaming and won’t do the job that you pay them for.
if you want your dog collar bedazzled for a ridiculous amount of money, come here. if you want quality leather work from crafts people that care about the customer and their trade, go else where. total waste of 10 days of my life for nothing.

For the last 2 years we bought a custom collar from Paco at the PetExpo in OC and we love them! They are beautiful, custom to match your pups style and unique! My husband and I want to get our Stewart one for each day of the week!

I came in to pick up a generous donation for the Marin Humane Society and was stoked to check this place out. I never knew how awesome collars and leashes could be until I stepped into this store. Immediately I noticed that this store carries a particular feel to it… To the left you see all the leather working tools and to your right you see a wall of gorgeous handmade goods. But then if you look straight ahead, you see a beautiful painting of Paco, the dog the store was named after and his collar. I loved this place. The collars are definitely no Petco quality nylon strap with a plastic buckle so as long as your not expecting prices like that, I couldn’t see anyone being unhappy with this store and that is confirmed with all their 5 star reviews. Jovanny was the nice young man who helped me (I hope I remembered how to spell that right) and took time to answer my questions of curiosity about leather work. It was a great place and I’m happy I got to check them out!

Picked up my dog’s collar today and I love it! Great quality and fits her perfectly. Paco Collars gave great service from the moment I walked in to view their products all the way until I came in with my dog to pick up her collar. The collars are not cheap, but the quality is excellent and they have a lifetime guarantee, well worth the money.

Came here to get a dog leash for my son Cody because I heard they had the best leather goods and because my dog deserves only the best :). Their situated in a very rustic building with a lot of products on display to choose from. Right when you get in, you’re greeted by the employee who was very knowledgeable at his craft. Although a lot of knowledge was shared regarding the collars and leash, I did feel as if he hovered a little too much. (Sometimes you need privacy in order to think to yourself before spending $ 50 – 200 on your dog! haha). Overall, came out with a nice leather leash and I couldn’t have been happier!

I came to the store while visiting home from New Jersey during the holidays. Due to my own mis-​read of their holiday hours, we stopped by the shop on a Monday, when they were closed. On a chance, I called them, and they were more than happy to let us come in and look at the collars (even before I had mentioned I was visiting). I cannot WAIT to see the collars I ordered, and I could not be more appreciative of their peerless customer service. Thank you, Paco Collars!

Sometimes your dog’s collar is all you have left when they are gone. You should think about this when weighing the expense of a «NICE» Paco collar and a cheaper imitation…
Our dog’s Paco collar sits proudly on our mantle next to his ashes as a reminder of all the fun times with «the beast». Although we have many photos and some videos, this collar embodies all that he was… Strong, stylish, and filled with love. I searched and searched the Web for a nice collar for my Russell Terrier, Ozzie. Decided on a Paco Collar, the Double Agent with tan leather. Couldn’t be happier, the craftsmanship is superior. I love it so much that I’ve ordered a 2^nd collar for Ozzie. This time he wants some jewels so I ordered the Rylie (black) with an added name plate with his name and my phone number. Can’t wait to get it!

I have been very fortunate to have a healthy dog (knock on wood). That being said, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to shell out a little extra $$ for my companion. Paco Collars has a reputation for high quality collars, etc. so why not?
Kara was the one who helped me out. She measured my slobbery panting dog and made helpful suggestions based on her knowledge of the products. She patiently worked with me while I indecisively went back and forth about the design on the collar.

All of my dogs have been getting Paco collars ever since the time Paco was around, and they are the best quality and have the best designs of any collars my dogs have ever had. Two of my dogs have custom-​designed collars which they have received many of compliments on. I have a matched harness/​leash for one, which is very attractive, very well-​made, and practical.
A couple of my dogs have knocked out the some of the studs that decorate the collar (because they are very rowdy) and so I’ve taken them in to get the studs/​stones replaced. The repair of the collar is always covered for the lifetime of the dog. The last person who took care of me there was named Kara, and she was as sweet, personable and helpful as she possibly could be.
Since the arrival of Paco collars on the scene, I’ve seen many others try to imitate them, but if you compare the quality of the leather and other materials used, the attention to detail, the extra nice finish and the obvious care and skill that goes into making these, you won’t want to buy your best pal a collar anywhere else. Totally worth every penny!

When I got Bubba, one of the first things I did was buy him a custom Paco collar and matching leash. He sported it for the rest of his life and I never needed to buy him a collar again, because of the amazing quality that goes into their craftsmanship.
When your pet passes away, the company offers to craft a bracelet or pendant as a keepsake out of your pet’s collar (they do this free of charge, and put priority on your piece over all their other orders). I received Bubba’s custom leash back in the mail today in the form of this beautiful bracelet, and now I always have him close to me.
Paco Collars is an amazing company that supports Pit Bull rescue, fosters animals and are not only champions of style and the human/​animal bond, they truely care about their customers and I would recommend them to any friend that loves their pets. I know one thing from my whole experience with Paco Collars; they’ve got me as a customer for life.

This here’s a story about me and my favorite belt. The big metal buckle, the width of the leather, the blingy adornments: I like it all. I’d been wearing it for so long that most of the adornments had popped off and the design looked like a shadow of what it once was but I never found a belt I liked as much.
Then I found an arty new belt buckle at a local boutique. They were selling that buckle with or without attached belt but the belt they’d attached was fifty shades of wrong. Not wide enough, unadorned, and cheap looking. That’s what she said.
Then I found Paco Collars which is officially an awesome spot to make your power dog a styling leather neckpiece. Or to get a perfect leather belt made to your specifications. And that’s what was done. Not only did Paco re-​bling my vintage belt, returning it to its original design, but they also made me a new, awesomely adorned belt to attach to my arty belt buckle. A design for that belt was decided upon and colors were chosen. Both the new belt and the recreated belt are things of beauty. They were completed promptly and for far less cost than I’d anticipated.
With leather and metal and tools, Paco can basically do anything you want and do it well. Check out their excellent, well-​designed web site to see what they usually do but realize, your imagination is their only limit. Fantastic place.

It’s difficult to find parking. The collars are pricey but it’s all WORTH IT in the end. These collars are guaranteed for life and they even offer cleaning services to make it look swanky and new after your doggy rolls in the mud and plays at the beach. The collars are sturdy and you an tell that they are handcrafted with pride. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell that they really care about their work and that they treat the collars like an artist would with his masterpiece.
The best selling point for me is that they will fix the collar for free if it ever breaks (normal use of course!) and that they will turn the collar into a human bracelet once your doggie goes to heaven (for free!!!). I love how they have so many choices and I especially dig the blingy collars! They will make a collar from scratch if you find one in their stash that is not the right size for your beloved pup.
For the bargain hunters out there, they have a bin where you can negotiate a price. These collars on sale are good but they’re made by trainees so they’re not up to their quality control standards, but I think they said they still guarantee those collars and will still repair them even if they broke.
Also, another cool thing about these collars is that many people recognize them. Hubby and I were walking around Berkeley and people kept stopping us to say «Hey! Paco Collar!» That clearly shows you that you’re buying from a very reputable business. People always comment on how gorgeous the collar looks on our Misha. I’m even thinking of getting The Kippy one since they do make cat collars.
