Established in 2012.

We opened our doors back in 2012. Since then we have evolved beyond just a place to host unique urban art forms but now provide the creative space, training, and encouragement to catapult the MVMNT as a whole. Think of us as a «Big kids playhouse».

Business Owner

Seth «Pimenta» Martinez is a Bay Area native and US born Capoeirista. Pimenta has been an active practitioner in the Art of Capoeira for over 19 years as a student and apprentice of Mestre Acordeon, Mestre Ra, & Mestra Suelly UCA (United Capoeira Association).

In 2001 Prof. Pimenta moved to Seattle, WA, where he started «Grupo Roda de Fogo» (Circle of Fire) as a proud branch of the United Capoeira Association’s family tree. Having provided the teachings, encouragement and development of 100+ students of all ages, 2010 was the year Pimenta was blessed with the title of «Professor» by his Mestre’s in front of over 300 Capoeirista’s and World Renowned Masters of the Art.
