No complaints. I can always find seating here. Service is good and adequate. What I love about this place is that parking is relatively easy for berkeley. Prices on snacks are reasonable and a breakfast sandwich was delicious.

Great café, open late in the afternoon which suits me. Staff are cheerful and polite to everyone including the middle school kids who come after school. All the plate dishes are very large, and their falafels are hot and crunchy, panini press sandwiches are great. The service can be slow and the pesto needs some umpfh. The seating can get full, which is occasionally inconvenient for me, but there are usually a few seats and it’s got a great happy ambiance. The neighborhood really needs a café and we’re lucky to have Mo’Joe.

They raised prices by 25 cents after not having raised them in several years. The café was still jam packed. The clientele were really nice though. There was nowhere to sit when we got there, but one lady was nice enough to relocate so we could have her table while she took a single seat at the communal table. I guess there isn’t really another coffee shop in this area for another 2 miles, so Mo Joe kind of has a monopoly. The tea was tea, just a bag in hot water; nothing out of the ordinary — but at least it was made by a local vendor.

Great coffee! Friendly staff! Mo’Joe has become one of my favorite cafes. Great coffee — rich, bold, and smooth. Delicious sandwiches. My favorite is the tuna melt or steak sandwich special. Smoothies are nothing special. I wish they would add carrot juice or another veggie juice option to their smoothies. Good space to work, but can get crowded and overheated.

I come to Mo’Joe’s about two or three times per month on a weekend afternoon for ice tea and bagel sandwich. The food is good, and they have a wide menu — pastries, sandwiches, wraps. salads. I recognize that some of the counter staff have been there for at least a year, and I appreciate them very much. They are always courteous, prompt, and efficient. There are three sofa-esque easy chairs, the kind you can sink into, which I enjoy lounging in. There’s lots of natural light. The ambiance is casual. The noise level is low. Lots of people come here with their laptops. If you want a casual, quiet but sociable place to hang out by yourself or with a friend, come here. I can’t speak to parking since I live nearby and so I walk here. But I imagine it is alright; there appears to be good parking at the curb in front, and in the surrounding residential neighborhood. There’s limited outdoor seating.

When you order a «Hot Pastrami Sandwich» you expect it hot. «It’s a cold sandwich. It’s hot because it has jalapeños.(Long pause.) Do you want me to throw it in the microwave?» The coffee is good, that atmosphere is nice, the service… could be improved a bit. I’ve had a number of different items and they’re generally good. The bagel breakfast sandwiches and anything involving falafel is very good. It’s a very friendly neighborhood spot, and I’ve had better service here in the past and I’ll keep coming back. Thus, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of the 3 I’m inclined to give it today. The wifi is reliable and they’re very cool about you staying and getting some work done here.

This has been my favorite café in the Bay Area so far. Every drink I’ve gotten has tasted like my grandma made, if her repetoire had included more than black coffee and hot chocolate made from scratch. I’ve only eaten breakfast here, but everything tastes bright and fresh. I sort of feel like the bacon, brie, tomato, and egg sandwich was more healthy than the salads they have back home in New Orleans. Nothing was very greasy or salty. The staff has been friendly and the service quick. I don’t have any complaints.

Love this place! Great prices. Their wraps are HUGE and more than affordable. The boyfriend and I usually split a Mediterranean wrap and are stuffed for a grand total of 8 bucks including my coffee. Relaxed atmosphere for taking care of wifi and computer business or just lounging and reading. Breezy and open, with the doors left wide, it can get a little noisy from street traffic but I’ve only noticed it a couple of times. This is a more friendly alternative to a lot of «too hip» for their own good Bay Area coffee places. For the WiFi password ask at the counter — they will give you a slip of paper. It’s a long random code of numbers and letters!

Its close to my home and the good part is that it opens up at 6:30! except weekends. I go here for just one thing in particular the Roast Beef Special sandwich. Nice fresh, crisp Ciabata bread and avocado filling with thick slices of Ementhal cheese, mayo, roast beef and onions! They also have great bakery products.

Mo’Joe is the perfect café if you need to get some work done. The wifi is fast and free, the music isn’t overly loud or annoying and there are lots of places to sit. The food is also really good! I had the falafel wrap, which was HUUGE! Also, all the drinks and pastries I’ve had have been delicious, perfect boosts of energy to keep the work going. I’ll be back!

I really enjoyed my day at this cute, comfy, and spacious café. It had all the things I look for in a great café: outlets aplenty, a nice atmosphere, not too much noise, tasty treats, and really great coffee. I could do with paying a bit less for the sandwiches, but all in all, I’m a big fan!

Appreciated finding this spot on a Monday afternoon to get some work done, have a cup of tea, and be able to use wifi. Plenty of seating, tables or comfy chairs. Service was super friendly. Easy neighborhood parking. And…my egg bagel sandwich with brie and bacon… simply, YES. Oh, also… the music was perfect. Not distracting, and super chill.

Great little spot just south of Dwight on Sacramento street. Nice choice of baked goodies including decent bagels and Semifreddi’s pastries. I am a breakfast bagel junkie and their options were good, including smoked salmon. I opted for the egg, cheese, smoked ham version, but it had a nice twist with chopped scallion and butter in the egg — it was very good. They also have a nice range of hot and cold sandwiches, panini, wraps, and salads. Extensive coffee and tea options as well as fresh squeezed juices, kombucha and the like. Newspapers on sale and free wifi. Friendly cheerful staff, open and well lit seating area, whats not to like here?

I am very harsh on this café for something that most people probably don’t care about: consistent, reliable, fast wifi. I was unable to get any work done there because the wifi kept going in an out. I literally had to reconnect every 10 – 15 min. Maybe it was just me because I am very demanding user who requires VPN and decent upload/download speed. If you don’t care about wifi, then I think this is not a bad place to come. They have actual food like sandwiches and salad, and the hibiscus ice tea they made for me was OK.

Really lovely neighborhood feel to this cozy, friendly café. Free wifi, ample space, considerate fellow patrons, lots of snacks and drinks, and friendly service. I enjoy studying here with my laptop(there are outlets against the walls) or just lounging in the couch with a book. They play great/mild quintessential café music with classic 60s hits thrown in that will be sure to amp your productivity while putting a smile on your face and a spring in your step :)

Decent little coffee joint that’s a little off the traditional beaten path in Berkeley. Free WiFi, but very limited seating when we were there. Latte wasn’t bad, although probably a tad overpriced for what it was. Very limited as far as food is concerned. I went with a fruit, granola, and yogurt parfait and was incredibly disappointed. The granola was soggy because it wasn’t kept separate from the other ingredients and it was really, really hard to get down. The overall vibe of the place was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly enough. I just wish it was a little bit bigger with a little bit better food choices.
