In addition, we are licensed general contractor specializing in high quality structural repairs, foundation repairs and reinforcement, seismic strenthening, drainage, and deck repairs, restoration and construction. We are Green Building certified and pride ourselves on our excellent customer service.

History

Established in 1987.

Doug Carver founded Carver Construction, the construction firm that evolved into Live Oak Structural in 1982. He obtained his Branch III Structural Pest Control Operator’s license in 1987 and formed Live Oak Structural Pest Control. As a committed environmentalist, Doug was interested in finding ways to minimize the use of some of the more toxic pesticides in use at the time, and he pioneered the use of sand barriers as an alternative treatment for subterranean termites. The sand barrier has since been phased out, as newer, less toxic chemicals have been developed for subterranean termites, but Live Oak Structural continues its committment to sound environmentally-​friendly construction methods and pest treatments. Since Doug passed away in 2005, his wife and partner of over 20 years, Terri Carver, manages the company along with Will Linville, with the same committment to high-​quality and exceptional customer service that Doug always insisted on.
