As your dentist, my staff and I will partner with you to meet your dental health needs. I believe building relationships with my patients is essential to providing the highest standards of dental care. I enjoy the artistry that is unique to each patient’s smile as well as the mutual respect and camaraderie that I share with my patients and staff. The following is some information about me that will help you get acquainted with my practice.

I graduated from the University of California Los Angeles Dental School in 1992. For the first eight years, I practiced as an associate dentist in my home town of San Francisco. In the last ten years, we have created a caring, relaxed and professional environment for our patients here in Berkeley. Each year we strive to improve and stay progressive with the newest dental advances and technologies.

I was on the second day of a two week road trip. Wouldn’t you know it, my four tooth implant/​bridge right in the front of my mouth came loose in DETROIT ON A SUNDAY. I called Dr. King freaking out. She called me back with the name and number of a local dentist who could see me the next morning and get me back on the road. Oh, and followed the appointment up with a phone call and an e-​mail to just to make sure everything went ok.
No matter where you are, if you are a patient of Dr. King’s you are always in good hands.

I have been going to Dr. King and her team for years. Everybody in her office is professional, skilled, helpful and friendly. Even some not so pleasant procedures went fine because Dr. King explained them well and did everything she could to make me feel at ease and comfortable. I’ve moved around a lot as an adult and had many dentists over the years, many of them _​very_​good. Dr. King and her staff, though, take first prize. They’re thorough, professional, and do beautiful work. Most of all, they’re fun to talk to and joke with and put you at ease in the chair when you’re paying for not flossing regularly enough!

Going to the dentist used to be one of my least favorite things to do until my husband and I started going to Marchelle King many years ago. She is a skillful, competent person and, like everyone else in her office, is relaxed and good humored. It is a pleasure to go there, and we always look forward to our visits.
