Business Owner

There has been a lot of unfair speculation about Karim Cycle-Berkeley inventory of used bicycles.

Many of the used bicycles were acquired through charity auctions at Goodwill and Salvation Army main depots. Others were acquired at recycling stores and collection yards like Urban Ore/White Elephant Sale. Still others were purchased at yard sales, church/school rummage sales. Unclaimed storage is another source. Others are trade-ins, consignment sales or distress sales by leaving Cal scholars, who complete a second-hand dealer report submitted to BPD. Apartment managers offer unwanted bikes in response «stopwaste.org» referral is another source.

Thirty years of sourcing bicycles for reuse/resale is a good way to see these things back into use. Not such a bad thing in these times!
