From bakers to DIYers, our fun styles and flattering cuts are perfect for any shape and size, including children and men. In addition to our coordinating kitchen textiles, like oven and pot mitts, Jessie Steele has expanded its line to include beauty and fashion accessories in our most popular prints.

History

Established in 2001.

Helena Steele and her daughter Claire created Jessie Steele; a company rich in tradition and fearlessly feminine. It all began with an apron. They took a complex process and added an exacting vision: Create retro yet thoroughly modern aprons with flattering cuts and beautiful prints.

It’s been over a decade since a few cherished aprons were taken from a drawer and began a new movement. Jessie Steele has indeed gone global. Our aprons have appeared on TV, in feature films, and on the runway. Every season we «Bring Happy Home,» delivered in patterns, colors and textiles that will have you smiling whether you live in Tulsa or Tokyo. No matter how large we become, we strive to always keep it personal.

The Jessie Steele line was named after Helena’s beloved Grandmother Jessie, who lived nearby her home in Toronto, Canada. (It is also Helena’s middle name); Jessie, «Mum», invariably had fresh baked treats and would offer them with a pot of tea; and yes, she always wore an apron.
