Jason is awesome, I used him in few project already and my wife and I just love his work and great ideas.
Easy to work with, right on time and so easy to work with.

We wanted to add another story to our home as we desperately needed more space with a new baby on the way. We called Jason and he came over and within a hour had given us some amazing ideas that we hadn’t thought about.
I was sure that we would only be able to fit in two bedrooms and a bathroom with the space we had available but he came up with an ingenius plan that gave us that crucial third bedroom. He is so good at looking at a space and seeing it’s potential. I still have the ad lib drawing he did for us at our very first meeting — it is so close to how our project actually turned out.
He not only helped us with our plans but he also showed up for the crucial local planning assessment that we had to go through at the beginning. He spoke up for us, presented our plans professionally and we got our project through.
All through the construction, he kept up with the progress of our re-​model. I always felt he gave us 110%. I highly recommend working with this architect.

I hired Jason several years ago to basically redesign a front exterior staircase and replace an existing garage. Our first meeting was good and he estimated an overall cost of the project that was very reasonable. After that things went down hill. The communications were poor, he kept revising his estimate, and those revisions were never right… two years later at a cost that was 3 times the original estimate I finally had approved plans and I fired him. Then during construction I learned from my contractor that the plans were poor and lacked many (many) details that he needed to build them. Luckily I have a father who is also a contractor and between the two of us we were able to fill in the holes left by the plans done by Jason and his staff. I ended up with a beautiful project (Jason’s overall vision was good) but because of the poor communication, lack of detail, and ridiculous cost of the project, I would never recommend Jason and I will never use him again.

Friends of our recommended Jason Kaldis to us for his skillful and imaginative designs, and we are very glad we took their advice. He not only projected a wonderful new second story for what was a smallish house (and is now an excellent family-​sized place), but took advantage of the opportunity to open up our first story, giving us a fabulous new family space we had not planned on, but where we spend much of our time. This was something neither we nor anyone else had imagined possible, let alone imagined. He has an extraordinary sense for space. The complements from everyone who sees the new house have been many and sincere (even from people who do not know we had work done; the addition is not «evidently» new). Jason and his able staff know everything involved in such projects, including the tricky issues of securing approval, and are there with lots of good cheer and competent, caring advice every step of the way.

This firm does primarily residential architecture — the expertise really shows in their portfolio. It looks like a lot of these pictures are now on their website.
One of the project managers, Maria, drew up plans for a new gazebo and bar/​entertainment area for my parents’ house. She was incredibly precise and very personable. She was very creative — the ideas she presented were options my parents had never thought of! Maria really took into account all of the things my parents wanted from the project. She presented several options in different price ranges. Unfortunately, the project never materialized as the house was sold soon afterwards but we will certainly be calling Jason Kaldis Architects for future design needs.
