Iris Ratowsky

Since 1995 Homeopathy has been my children’s and my first line of healthcare «defense» when we have needed health support. While over years we have had other healthcare support also, in 2011 we called Iris when in a healthcare crisis for my young son, and soon she was treating all of us. I became a student in her excellent program a couple years later and have come to understand the depth of her prescribing as she demands very deep thought and study before we ever prescribe. Often, even with our clinic patients, we’ll have 10 heads put together with her discussing what needs to be the focus of our look, and we spend enormous time doing Materia Medica differential. Without this time and effort she also puts in herself with her clients, it would be easy to throw one remedy or another at a person, prescribing on a surface level, but we are being trained to search for the very best match for a person «out the gate». Sometimes the plan is to begin with one remedy and there is a need for another one being used intercurrently, but these remedy changes are not made loosely; Iris is looking for your deepest needs to be met with the Homeopathic care she provides. It’s not enough to get acute care for your asthma; sure, she’ll absolutely treat the acute when it is so serious, but then it is crucial to go back in with a constitutional care appointment to affect the underlying cause of the asthma. Many people have the opportunity, when treated with Classical Homeopathy practiced with such care, to shed pharmaceuticals, though Iris and any responsible Homeopath would never suggest that you do so; that is your own choice to explore with your MD. Just saying that many who want to succeed in being able to do so. That said, if you have problems which have developed over a lifetime, while you may feel great relief in even the first month or two of treatment, please remember that problems developed over years can take time to unwind. It’s a process and there is no forcing things to happen more quickly than they are going to do.
In terms of Iris’ craniosacral work, I have been the beneficiary of her work a couple of times, most recently last weekend. Among other issues, I have a history of TMJ and my first two cervicals being «out» (years-​long issue). While I plan to have some more of this work done to increase the probability of the work «holding», I feel promise as my whole neck and jaw has felt pretty loose and flexible the week since the session.

The gentle way she moved my body to release the jammed area in my back has lasted months now, even through a clumsy fall, showing me that it was effectively healed, not just a quick fix! I could actually sense the energy movement restored as she worked, from top to bottom. I had the benefit of releasing blocked channels that I didn’t even know I needed! This experience was so freeing and rejuvenating, I want to highly recommend Iris. I had given up on finding a fix for my pain and felt I’d have to just live with it for the rest of my life. I feel so grateful that I had this opportunity for a healing through Iris! I am able to return to many activities that I had been restricted from. and have better energy and that just touches so many areas each day!
