Ilse and Sophia C.

Business Owner

Ilse and Sophia have studied mosaic at IMA since 2006 from a variety of instructors and visiting artists. In 2013 they purchased the business and moved it from its original location in Oakland to its present location in Berkeley.

Ilse manages day to day operations at the school and store, engages instructors, handles student registrations, and works in the store. Sophia is the business manager and manages the on-line store as well as working in the physical store, ordering and managing inventory. They both participate in weekly lab sessions and interact with students on a daily basis.
