iD Tech Camps

My son attended this camp in Berkeley. He enjoyed it but it is way overpriced for what he got. I know there are not a lot of other tech camps out there so maybe that’s why it’s so expensive. Maybe more like $ 500 worth.

Our son has attended this camp for over 3 summers and this is by far the best summer camp that he’s experienced. The counselors are smart, engaged and really work with all the kids. They’re technical, geeky, and spunky (like all your typical camp counselors) … all a the same time. He attended the day camp program (not the overnight) as we live just across the bay and he still felt very welcomed in the group. He’s attended a number of other tech camps in San Francisco and this was by far his favorite. ID Tech uses software that is commercially available so he’s getting real world experience. When he is stuck on a problem, the counselors are very helpful in guiding him through the process. Because of the low student: teacher ratio, he feels he’s getting the attention and help he needs to create and work on his projects. ID Tech has a number of camps across the US. However, as Berkeley alumns, we like sending him to the UCB Campus. Go Bears! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality tech camp for your child.
