We feature earth-​friendly, ethically-​produced products from local and international designers with our unique collection of modern jewelry, handbags, personal accessories, home décor, products for children and men, stationery, seasonal gifts, and natural bath & body collections. Creative children’s toys and products, age 0-​teen, made from natural, safe materials, focused on hands-​on play.

We are proud to focus on products produced by socially responsible organizations. We are also serious about ‘eco’ and we source from artists working recycled/​reclaimed or sustainable materials, and support fair trade programs. You will be amazed at the materials in use such as cork, truck/​bike tire rubber, aluminum, glass, burl wood, birch, mango wood, plastic bottles, bamboo, skateboards, cardboard, magazines, reclaimed leather, milk jugs, corn resin, armt tents, cement bags, tagua seeds, bronze, and more.

History

Established in 2015.

Hatch on College Ave opened in Oct 2015. Our first location is in the Montclair area of Oakland and opened in 2011.

Earth-​friendly and socially-​responsible products can be finely made, like modern art in form, and be truly functional too. Hatch is the result of this reality: and our ability to source such unique finds, locally and internationally, combined with our keen appreciation for all things modern in design.
