Business Owner

A California native and graphic designer, Lisa Wong Jackson designs custom wedding invitation suites, stationery, business identities, and other print collateral from her Berkeley, California home. Inspired by nature, organic shapes, bold colors and simple line drawings, her collection includes products for the home, office, and baby. Lisa uses recycled paper, earth friendly inks, and organic cotton whenever possible. When she’s not designing or obsessing over ideas, she keeps herself busy taking care of her two boys, Lucas and Theo, and Pixel, her beloved Boston Terrier, laughing with her husband Nick, hanging out with family and friends, cooking or baking, and just trying to be nice.

Lisa at Good on Paper designed everything for our wedding stationary, including our invitation suite, save the dates, escort cards, place cards, menus, and miscellaneous signage. Everything was beautiful. Most impressive was that we had a printing snafu for our save the dates, but as soon as she was made aware, Lisa made sure that we had the correct save the dates delivered to us within a couple days.

Lisa is the nicest person in the world. Seriously, you guys don’t even know. But you should find out.
Her letterpress designs were some of our most-complimented wedding items. She took our Art Deco inspiration and designed a beautiful, classic invitation suite that was memorable and functional at the same time. So beautiful, in fact, our sister-in-law framed it for us, saying it just had to go on display. She also did our save-the-dates, programs, seating chart, welcome sign, and table numbers with ease. Her eye for color and theme made her great choice for our print collateral.
She uses paper made of recycled cotton from textile factories, so your environmental footprint will be a little smaller and wiser. I’m so glad to see this Berkeley-based designer doing so well.

Lisa was the creative force behind our wedding paper goods suite and my experience working with her could not have been more delightful! Lisa graciously handled all of our concerns every step of the way to deliver a beautiful, and «on brand» wedding paper goods suite. She was able to capture our personality and theme of our wedding elegantly. Our friends and family are still swooning over the beautiful letterpress prints!

I would give Good on Paper 6 stars if I could. Lisa Wong did my wedding invitations and was fantastic. Great service, unusual, interesting and beautiful designs. She was so willing to help us create our own vibe, and
not have it look like we purchased our invites at hallmark.

She also did fun, funky save the dates with two pins on them, which people wore to the wedding. A quirky Scott hearts Dana and Dana hearts Scott pin were the perfect touch. Her style is elegant, whimsical, unique and hip.

Designer Lisa Wong is the bomb diggity! Accomplished photographer, artist and dog-lover, Lisa makes her mark with stationery that screams sweet and chic. Good on Paper sells their fabulous stuff in the hippest stores. Lisa makes the best cards, stationery, little books, invitations, and more, with a retro-cool vibe to all of it. She’s been featured in In Style and Martha Stewart Weddings, and it’s definitely worth checking out the goods before she totally blows up and becomes inaccessible. I love supporting great local designers, and she’s one of the best.
