Gabrielle Organizes

Gabrielle is a genius when it comes to productivity. I worked with her in her 90-​Day productivity program and she changed my brain. Her system for dealing with incoming email has created more space in my inbox and my life.
We organized my calendar, got my work and home/​family life hours scheduled, started me on a system of setting hours not just for client appointments, but also to do my client projects and admin work. I’ve always known I needed to do this but was never able to implement it.
She helped me take actions to get my computer running more smoothly, and connect properly with my smart phone.
She taught me how to use tools to make my note-​taking easier and more efficient, to digitize my client contracts, and to create and track secure passwords for all of my online accounts and memberships.
She started me on a new filing system that is color-​coded and separated by types of information (tax, permanent records, rotating records, projects, etc.), which led to my clearing out and throwing away MOUNTAINS of old, unimportant papers, for the first time since I created my first filing system, many years ago.
How does she do it? She is VERY smart, and firm, and gentle.
The effects are profound. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel calmer, more spacious, and more productive in work and life.

Before I met with Gabrielle, I felt like my business was running me. After only one meeting, I felt like I was running my business. It took me about 2 weeks to fully adapt to all the practices we discussed. Over the course of those two weeks, I noticed that I was happier, less stressed, and delegating work a lot better.

I recently moved from a 3500 square foot home to a 1600 square foot home. Even after I got rid of more than half of the items in the larger home I sat among boxes in my kitchen thinking this is never going to work. I spent a few days on line looking at free standing cabinets to buy so that I could fit all of my items. Enter Gabrielle — an intelligent, efficient individual who asked if it was okay if she worked in the kitchen alone. Within less than two hours she managed to find places for everything I had in boxes. I was shocked. This is second only to how she organized my clothes closet! I saved money & time and am happy everytime I look into those beautifully organized spaces.

«Everything has a home!» That’s the big takeaway for me. I know that this phrase is basic to organizing, but somehow though my entire life, I never learned it or never heard it until I met Gabrielle.
Finally tired of all the clutter in my office, I hired Gabrielle. She came in and consulted with me about what I had and what I needed, no judgment, no guilt! Through talking with her, I realized that the reason I wasn’t able to get my office space organized and always stressed about it was that things had nowhere to go because the places were already occupied by other things! (I wasn’t exactly hoarding, but not quite throwing things out!).
She gave me a plan of action and I did the work.
Now (seven months later) I am still maintaining my clean space! I’ve even left some permanent empty spaces on my shelves so that the Feng Shui energy can pass through. Best thing is I’m not stressed about moments when things get cluttered, because things always find their way home. And I’m inspired to clean and organize the rest of my home and keep it that way.
What a relief and it feels like a big rock off my chest. I can think again. I feel like I have «brainspace» to be creative!

A month later: Gabrielle’s system has proved very sustainable– my closet remains neat and accessible, it’s easy and fun to put together outfits in the morning, and I’m wearing more of my clothes than ever before. I’ve also been inspired to organize other areas of our home according to those principles. Extremely happy!

I hired Gabrielle to come to my home and completely reorganize our kitchen. In one day, she came in, organized the entire kitchen and instantly turned what was in complete chaos into a well structured, well thought out, highly organized and efficient kitchen. I had never really considered hiring a professional organizer before, but with two young kids and a list of project that just never seemed to get done, I decided I needed some help. Gabrielle first helped me organize my office, which was in disarray and buried in paper. In an afternoon of work, Gabrielle created a filing system for me, and helped me process the piles into actionable tasks. I now have a system that is working very well, and I have a plan to deal with all the bills, receipts and other paper that comes into our home. She also helped me get rid of a lot of stuff that I just didn’t need.
I recently hired Gabrielle again to help my family with a move. Before the move she sent her «move packet» which is filled with lots of good advice about how to organize ourselves before the big day. Based on her tips, we packed «Open Me First» boxes with all of necessities that we would need for the day of and day after the move. Then she came to my new house as the movers were unloading the truck, and helped direct traffic so all the boxes, furniture and other stuff was put in the right place. She then helped me unpack our kitchen so that by the evening our house was already up and running.
Gabrielle is incredibly friendly and professional and very easy to have in your home. She was not all judgmental about my embarrassing piles of paper and useless stuff. She just dove in and helped me sort it out. I think the thing I appreciate most about her is that she focuses on trying to set up a system that I can implement on my own after she has left. I can’t recommend her services highly enough!
