I work with you as a whole person — mind, body and spirit. I bring a social justice approach that is non-pathologizing, collaborative & respectful. I believe a safe trusting relationship is the root of a healing relationship. I also support you in uncovering your innate resources, developing new skills, and connecting more deeply with your embodied wisdom.
My approach is relational, culturally-sensitive, and rooted in Somatic Psychotherapy that may include mindfulness, movement, and touch, and connection to both the spoken and unspoken.
I also bring extensive training in psychotherapy approaches –including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; advanced work with Kathy Kain, Somatic Experiencing Trainer; Focusing; & Psychophysical Therapy, and interpersonal neurobiology — that work with the healing of trauma & early developmental trauma

Business Owner
As a second generation Asian American, I am sensitive to issues of belonging and not belonging, and the embodied impact issues of race, culture, gender, sexuality, gender identity on your life.
I believe strongly in my role as an empowering guide, not as an expert.
After years of social justice activism, my own journey of healing first led me to become a somatic educator for people with chronic pain and trauma for 15 years. I found myself drawn to the meaningful struggles in my client’s lives and the power of healing the mind body relationship to bring about change.
Now, I now have a Masters of Arts in Counseling-Somatic Psychotherapy emphasis from the California Institute of Integral studies. I am Somatic Psychotherapist and a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (IMF#81 465), employed and supervised by holistic psychologist Ed Schmookler, Ph.D., license #8597, a trauma and dissociation specialist.
I look forwards to learning how I can support you in your unique journey.
