History
Established in 2002.
MindBodyHerbs, the holistic healing practice of David Caruso-Radin began as a Shiatsu, Chinese Dietary Therapy, and Western Herbology practice. The depth of Chinese Medicine became an addiction for David, and so more schooling was necessary. In 2006 David added Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Medical Qi Gong, and transformed the Chinese Dietary Therapy practice to an Integrative Nutrition practice. Integrative Nutrition at MindBodyHerbs incorporates the science of western nutrition with the wisdom of Chinese Dietary Therapy.

Business Owner
David Caruso-Radin began MindBodyHerbs in 2002 after completing training in Holistic Medicine, Shiatsu, and Nutrition at The Heartwood Institute In Northern California. The tutelage of Paul Pitchford, author of «Healing with Whole Foods» gave him a strong foundation in Integrative Nutrition, and inspired him to further his education in Chinese Medicine. He received his Master’s in Science, in Oriental medicine from the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley where he currently serves on the faculty and was the Dean of Students. In addition, he trained as an Instructor in Wild Goose Qi Gong under Master Hui Liu at the Wen Wu School of Martial Arts; and with Dr. Suzanne Friedman in Medical Qi Gong.
David believes that it is important to educate his patients so that they can help themselves to prevent disease.
David and MindBodyHerbs now have two offices, conveniently located in North Berkeley’s Northbrae neighborhood and in East Richmond near the Solano Avenue exit.
