Claremont Club & Spa, a Fairmont Hotel

I really want to like it because it is beautiful. I will probably keep trying and being disappointed.
The renovation is visually lovely. The pools and tennis courts are great. The views are stunning.
But… One imagines that it must have been renovated by someone who cannot hear. One has to try so many rooms in order to find one that does not have a loud hum or buzz from the hvac condensers on roofs, the elevator, the plumbing, the people above. And the rooms I settled for each had a moderate buzz and hum, such that I had to turn the thermostat to off to be able to sleep. And then much of the morning they used an impossibly loud leaf blower for hours outside the front of the hotel. There was nothing being blown by it. A rake would have worked fine.
Also: I just searched the hotel at 10pm on a Thursday night for a place where I can eat and have a drink with a friend. It seems this is not possible. The restaurants are closed. The bar is open but one cannot order a meal — not even room service — to the bar. The helpful suggestion from the front desk is that my colleague and I should go eat alone in our rooms and then come down to the bar for a drink together. I have been to any number of hotels that will let you order room service to wherever you please, especially when restaurants close. In the end, a cheese plate was possible but not a meal. The drinks were good but it remains strange that no one seemed interested in helping us solve the problem of not drinking on an empty stomach. I noticed that at 11ish the folks in the bar next to us had a pizza delivered from a pizza delivery service. I am glad someone is interested in feeding the Claremont’s guests. I just wish the Claremont was.

We have always loved having small plates and delicious burgers and cocktails at the Claremont, with a fabulous view. It has been a classic Berkeley landmark for ever! Excited to take my son back again this year, we were both so disappointed to find the deck is only for drinks now, no snacks, no small plates, nothing. What a huge disappointment that this special place has gone away

This hotel is WAY OVERPRICED!!! It is beautiful, even opulent but for the price of the room plus all the feed they tack on a room will be nearly $ 400 per night. If you can find a deal and stay for less than $ 200 it becomes more tolerable. As others have said the dining experience here is crazy expensive. My wife and I had drinks at the bar… $ 15 dollar drinks. It was a martini I ordered and no not top shelf liquor.
The staff was good but not great. I inquired about brunch at Meritage, «oh don’t worry as a guest we will get you in». Nope not true, if they had made reservations for me as I had asked I would have enjoyed a nice brunch. But to make me feel even worse the staff at the restaurant looked at my wife and I like we were idiots for not making reservations. So not only no brunch but I got a lesson in making reservations from an arrogant young lady. Perfect end to an overpriced stay at the Claremont.
I will agree with previous reviews the beds are comfortable. The room did have a funny smell, not sure what it was.

The Claremont is a gem! My go to place when I think about taking off for a romantic «stay-​cation». The spa and massage packages here are by far the best I’ve had. It is truly a unique experience.
The Claremont has surely received a face-​lift since we first came here 6 years ago, but service and cleanliness remains excellent. With our most recent visit, we took with us our littles (ages 3 and 1) and the Claremont is surprisingly accommodating to the youngest of guests. Their roll away crib was the nicest and cleanest I’ve come across. Comes with soft adorable sheets and matching baby comforter.
Pool is open late (11pm) but well lit and HEATED! There are two kiddie play areas with nice water features, a lap swim area and a reasonably sized hot tub. Sauna was closed for repair that day. Bonus: swim areas come with float boards, giant chess, and fresh fruit for the taking.
Highly recommended for couples and families.
Location is great, downtown Berkeley and yummy eats all around the corner. Parking is $ 30 night but enclosed in a private parking area with in and out privileges.

The hotel is currently being updated so it is en route to being very modern and classy. unfortunately I stayed during the construction so I didn’t have the best experience. they were painting near the lobby elevators getting in everyone’s way. one set of bathrooms in the lobby level were getting Remodeled so it was an inconvenience to the meeting I was hosting. the water in the other open bathrooms were on and off not working. there was a burnt filter of some sort that left this awful smell. so many complaints with that. there was loud drilling outside of the balcony of the event I had hosted. air conditioning in the Claremont ballroom creates this vibration within the room
I see a lot of potentials with this property. the views are nice. aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful. it just wasn’t the right time for my visit

Augustino was very welcoming and extremely helpful. Anne the concierge was really nice and she helped me to set up my room surprises to help with my Valentine’s Day gift.
The room was clean, OMG! The bed!!! My body melted in it. The comfort is unexplainable.
I may have missed it online, but for some reason when we checked out there was a $ 26 facilities charge and extra taxes added to the bill. WTH! Wasn’t that included in the taxes you already charged me on top of the $ 30 parking fee?
Really nice and relaxing place, but I guess it better be for all the extra fees thrown into everything. Oh and side note, don’t order room service unless you reallllllly have too. Coffee and mimosa $ 48, they called it in room dining.

I’ve stayed at the Claremont twice now and love the Bay View rooms. The rooms are elegant but comfortable and the bed is really nice for a hotel. The only downside is that on this stay, I must’ve been in one of the recently updated rooms because there was a chemical smell — possibly from new carpet or furniture. It wasn’t horrible but was enough to give me a headache. I opened the window but there was no screen so I didn’t leave it open.
I also wish they had more dining options. One of the restaurants was closed for a private party so I dined at Antoinette which was overly expensive and had a very limited menu.
I had morning business meetings on both stays do love the grab and go breakfast options.
Overall, my stays have been very pleasant and the staff had been great.

I tried to book tea service and got an extreme run around because several employees had no idea where or even if tea service was offered at the Claremont Hotel. (Apparently only offered on weekends.) I was put on hold multiple times and was sent to the Meritage restaurant when I told them specifically at the beginning of the conversation that I definitely didn’t want that restaurant. The new Meritage menu, in my opinion is overpriced. I’m hopeful that the replacement for the Paragon restaurant is moderately priced and offers
” Fairmont quality” service. This is something that’s been lacking at this property for a long time.

This review was for the Spa. Decided to treat myself on my birthday for massage and facial. To get to the spa, you enter through the lobby, past the front desk and to your right, you will find a hall that has stairs leading to the spa. As i was walking thru the lobby and restaurant, I noticed they were going thru some renovations. After checking in, I was escorted to the women’s side and was given slippers and a robe. Took a quick tour thru their vanity and bathroom area. I noticed the spa definitely needs an upgrade. Kind of like it’s stuck in the late 90’s, early 2000’s? My first appointment was with Diane (i think), she was my massage therapist. She was really nice, gave me a free upgrade for aromatherapy massage. my fav is the lavender. I’m a deep tissue massage kind of person, don’t like the soft massages and I was kind of getting that in the beginning. I did let Diane know she can go really deep with the massages. After the 55 min experience, I felt my $ 40 massage I get from my regular gal in my area was much better and paid waaay more money here. due to the extra amenities they offer here. Next was my facial which was very nice, no complaints for that part. It was a pleasant experience but don’t think I’ll come back again unless someone else pays for services (ahem.hint hint hubby).

This review is for afternoon tea only at the Claremont Lobby Lounge and Bar:
Now that the Claremont Hotel is part of the Fairmont Hotels they now offer afternoon tea! They even are able to accommodate for special dietary restrictions such as gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan. I made reservations ahead of time for which I was told I could do it through Open Table.
Décor for tea at the Claremont is modern and chic. The tables have a mirrored table top and the tableware was all white with modern style. While tea time at the Claremont is a pre fixe menu, they did bring out menus featured on tablets (adding to the modern chic of this tea) to show you what was in store for your tea. For tea you did get a choice of tea selection… it was not the most expansive selection of tea, maybe a dozen or so to chose from (including only one herbal and no decaffeinated from what I could tell). Also, about half of their teas were at a premium and would add an extra $ 8 to your tea service if you chose any of those. Sparkling wines were also on offer for an extra $ 12 or so. For the hefty price tag of the tea, $ 48, I was kind of hoping it would come with some kind of sparkling wine or cocktail. Most certainly though, I would have expected at least that choosing a specific tea offered would not add an extra $ 8 to the cost.
Our teas came out with a tea timer for the table to tell you when the teas were done. While I’ve never be to tea where tea timers were brought out, I do know that each kind of tea (white, green, black, etc) brews at different times so I’m not sure if we all just ordered black teas or if the tea timers are more just a formality to add to the experience. Next we were each offered a small bite to get us started, a kind of soft cheese spread sandwich. My vegan friend was brought out a small helping of mixed berries. Next came the full tea spread on a three tiered modern tray. My vegan friend had her own tea which was arranged separately though I forgot to make a note of what she was brought out specifically. For the non vegans we each had a scone and a scuffin (a mix between a muffin and scone), served with cream fraiache and papaya fruit preserve. For savories we were served a tasty pea spread with crunchy peas and pickled carrots on toasted bread, a salmon tea sandwich, a lobster roll wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber, a chicken salad sandwich, and egg salad in a small cup with brioche fingers. For dessert we had a brownie, a cream puff sweet, a madeleine, and a cookie.
Overall tea was okay to pretty good at the Claremont Hotel. The food was excellent! Though sadly the vegan tea which was mainly just whole vegetables and fruits left something to be desired according to my vegan friend. The staff could have been a bit more attentive. While they came around often at the beginning, toward the end it was hard to catch their eye for refills of water and to get the check. Also, I’m not sure what happened with parking. I was told that for tea our parking would be validated for up to two hours and that after two hours we would have to pay the regular fair which I recall I was told was $ 7/​hour. By the time we were driving out of the parking lot we were slapped with a $ 13 parking fee. I’m not sure if that’s because the servers forgot to validate my ticket which I gave them when we were checking out or if perhaps they failed to tell me it wasn’t validated and I needed to go somewhere else, such as to the parking attendants, to get it validated. For the price of the tea and because, after all, the Claremont hotel is not in a place like San Francisco, I would have expected parking to be free. I would definitely give tea here another try, because the food was excellent, but I was disappointed at all the extra costs for this tea especially considering the price.

What magical land have we just reached? Spent a delightful weekend there with out-​of-​town friends. Lap of luxury nestled in local beauty. Check out the updated style!

Usually I’m not one to gush, but this place was phenomenal! My boyfriend and I are both super busy during the semester, so before it started back up we decided to treat ourselves. So glad we did! The décor was modern and stylish (as others have said, but it bears repeating), but still manages to invite you to sit down and stay awhile. The views of the Bay Area are stunning — especially for natives who can sometimes forget how gorgeous it is here.
Attentive, quick service. The server made sure we always had what we needed, but allowed my boyfriend and I to enjoy each other’s company without lots of interruption. When it came to drinks, this place was top of the line. There were a large variety of delicious cocktails to choose, but what really impressed me was the sweeping selection of wine. I had the Robert Craig — a wine you don’t find everywhere — and I was not disappointed.
The best part for me was the gluten free food. Its often challenging for me to find a beautiful location with excellent drinks, a huge variety of wine AND delicious gluten free goodies! Sandwiches, cookies, biscuits! This place was a dream come true!

Pretty disappointed overall. Yes – it’s a beautiful remodel, gorgeous lobby and views. But it’s not been worth the money I’ve spent. I’d planned a night w my daughter… and as a Fairmont Presidents Club member you’d think I’d at least have had a view. Nope. Looked over roof and parking lot. And they called it an upgrade – it wasn’t. The bar, as others have said, was ridiculously overpriced. $ 22 for a glass of wine c’mon. I’m at breakfast now – there’s literally only three tables full and I had to flag a waiter for coffee as they are doing a photo shoot at the table behind me – yes, an entire empty restaurant and they sat me next to the table where there is a photographer an assistant and several hotel waiters conversing and shooting photos. Bizarre. Salt shaker empty. Food excellent –eggs and toast. Waiters are very nice.

I had a great stay at the Claremont. The staff were real professionals on every level. They were not intrusive, yet I still felt like they always had my best interest in mind. The paragon bar is closed for rennovations, but they have another bar area set up in the interim. The drink prices are a little high, but for such a classy establishment, they are not bad at all. $ 6 drafts, maybe $ 12 cocktail?
The furniture set up is perfect for casually having a drink in a relaxing environment. It was dark when I was there, but SF views are available if you situate yourself correctly.
The treatment and respect that I received from the staff was top notch. I will return even if it is just to hang out at the bar for a few drinks.

From start to finish we were impressed. The beautiful décor, the Bay Area views, the service, tea, and meal were all fantastic.
Upon walking into the hotel, let alone the Lobby Lounge & Bar you are drawn to the beautiful décor. So stylish, modern, and comfortable. We were promptly greeted and told our table would be ready soon, allowing us time to take in the awesome Bay view and admire the lovely details of the room.
Despite visiting for tea, my cousin and I began with a glass of champagne, followed by an impressive tea selection. This was my first time having afternoon tea and it was such a lovely experience! The selection, the tea gadgets, and the quality were all great, but the tower of treats and sandwiches made it that much more impressive.
Blueberry biscuits, lobster sandwiches, egg salad, smoked salmon on toast, curry spread, cookies, jam and key lime custard are enough to make anyone smile. Not to mention that all of this was made gluten free for me!
Such a wonderful, beautiful experience. I’m looking forward to doing it again in a couple weeks!

What a beautiful place. I have really enjoyed my stay. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The staff was really nice and accommodating with requests. And the food for the event that was catered by the hotel was epic. I had this steak that melted in my mouth, literally. Really want to come back.
The only problems I had was at check-​in when they decided that at 5 pm to clean the carpets at the front desk. I couldn’t hear the lady checking me in. I wish they would pick a better time like really early in the morning or late into the night. Not when a bunch of people will be checking in. The other thing is I hope that they fix their elevators. They are number weird and took forever and people seemed to be getting lost on them.

Many years ago I stayed here. I remember the lobby looking old and tired and the rooms were tiny and all different shapes but still charming
But now this place has gone through a major renovation and the lobby area and bar area look awesome. Kind of modern yet an old world elegance
I did not lodge here but came for drinks. The place was busy as a company party was going on across the hall. The bar had many patrons and was light and bright and tastefully decorated
The table service was good and the bartender was very good
They had some decent wines by the glass like Robert Craig cab and Duckhorn Merlot. I had a Zaya aged rum neat which is always yummy
We had a nice time and enjoyed our short time at the Claremont
I will definitely be back and possibly lodge here as they have an amazing fitness and spa center

Let me explain. People are super nice. Rooms are clean, and the hotel has a certain character because it is historical.
IF it was $ 189/​night hotel I’d give it 4 stars. But at $ 350 plus you expect MUCH better. This is AFTER it has become «a Fairmont» hotel.
* Bayview Café (I think that’s the name) had spoiled juice, food was just OK.
* Places had duct tape on the ground to hide cables.
* All elevators had paper taped over the buttons to show new flooring terminology (Really? How hard is it to replace buttons?)
* Leaving at 5:45 am thee was no door person to assist us.
* Elevator shafts were backed with shoddy taped cardboard.
If you get a deal under $ 199 by all means come here. Otherwise spend your money elsewhere. You’re paying for the name.

There’s something about the Claremont in general that’s majestic (yet not to pretentious and high brow) and beautiful already but now that it’s almost done in its renovation it seems to be even more beautiful than before.
I’ve been here on multiple occasions, casual lunches, a graduation celebration for my sister and then yesterday for their new tea service. I’ve been meaning to leave a review but absolutely had to after yesterday.
First of all it was raining and a doorman came out to meet me with an umbrella to usher me inside and offered to help me find where I was going. When we checked into the lounge for tea we were immediately seated and offered a glass of sparking wine. Everyone from the lounge staff to even the chef were super amazing, attentive and helpful.
One thing to keep in mind is that this is not a novelty type of tea room, this is very high end and sophisticated, it’s perfect for moms and their daughters or a bridal/​ladies party. The attention to detail is beautiful and very classy. I’d recommend making the Claremont your destination for any and all celebrations… or just a lunch.

I’m not very happy. I came here for a big meeting — it was very difficult to concentrate with all the banging and vibrations going on.
Then, when lunch was served, the staff were awkward and inept, taking items off our table to put on others, so when our food came, we had no salt, pepper, butter, or dressing.
My shrimp Caesar had only 4 small shrimp on it and my soup was cold.
Everyone was friendly and I liked the view and décor.

Reviewing the newly renovated Claremont Lobby Lounge & Bar — and the afternoon tea service!
The tea selection was fantastic, and the tea was service nice and hot.
The finger sandwiches and treats were perfect in every way. My personal favorite was the lobster sandwich wrapped in a slice of cucumber and the lemon curd.
Denise, our resident English-​gal, said it was the tastiest afternoon tea she has had in America (I think that’s a direct quote). We also all agreed that it will become our new tradition.
Great way to kick-​off the holiday season or any season, and the view is spectacular of San Francisco!
(Side note — for those gluten-​free folks out there, they have a complete gluten free menu and selection.)

If you are looking to get a good nights sleep this is not the place. Room is nice as long as you don’t look out the window on this side.

Went back to the spa and had the hot stone with Amy. She was AMAZING and based on her, they come back with another star. Seriously one of the best massages I have ever gotten and I left feeling like I was floating on a cloud of marshmallows.
I still feel this place is just OK and not amazing.
I went upstairs to sit at one of the couches outside of Meritage to wait for the spa to open. All of a sudden, I get a whiff of onions. First I think it’s from the restaurant but, this is more of a yucky, B. O onion-​smell. I start getting self-​conscious and smell my jacket… knowing I had just showered and it wasn’t my pits or anything. I look down and there are slivers of onions on the floor. clearly from some slob that had eaten at the couch previously. Ugh.
You mean to tell me you have 100+ folks walking around in Claremont gear with ear-​pieces to communicate to each other and to say hello to everyone they pass, and not one of you has the ability to keep this place clean?
Also, I appreciate that this is an old landmark, but damn this place needs a facelift! Some of the tables were chipped and the couches were all sunk in and worn down. I was super unimpressed by the hotel.
Back down at the spa. I’ll spare you the details but, the lady who gives out the keys to the lockers and stuff basically made me feel like a fat ass and there was a huge language barrier with other clients and myself in the women’s area. It was awkward and she had the vibe of one of those people that own a liquor store in an urban area and they watch you closely, smiling… but really more concerned with if you’re gonna steal from their store. Her vibe totally turned me off.
My feedback to the spa. ask clients when they call to make the appt. what size robe they would like and what size shoes are needed so that lady doesn’t have to communicate with folks very much. She was weird and she made a couple of us feel very confused and it did NOT live up to the expectation I have of a spa-​feel at all.
Also update that waiting room. it looks like the waiting room of a depressing law office or something. Not what I’d expect from one of the priciest spas in the area.

Had one of the newly remodeled suites. Huge unit but had some problems. Bugs in the light fixture? Are you serious? If a room is over $ 1K a night I don’t want bugs. The AC unit sounded like a small Volkswagen, so sleeping was an issue. The elevators, numbering system, etc are all jacked. Elevator was out of service. TV’s didn’t get many channels. Toiletries in the bathroom were poor. Musty smell.
I realize this place has history but it’s really a joke. The pretentious can have this over priced, smelly, bug ridden dump.

Received an email notice today that Claremont Hotel deleted my email regarding renting their event space without reading it. My inquiry sat in their in box for 5 weeks untouched and then they deleted it today without opening it.
If I could, this would be a negative 5 star review for the hotel due to it’s extremely poor customer service. I noticed the hotel replied to my Unilocal review but not my inquiries (email and phone calls). This is very poor customer service.

Stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is outdated, what’s worse is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything. They put me to a room in front of elevator so I was not sleeping all night. When I complained at the front desk they were like, yeah, we know. You are really in the very front of elevator and all night long you hear beep beep beep. I hated it. Sleep is the main purpose of getting a hotel room for me. If you will be unlucky and stay in the same room as me you will not get any sleep. Don’t risk it, go somewhere else.
They did not even bother to apologize, they were like yeah, that happens. Very negative experience.

A few nights stay at a former castle that looks extremely beautiful as you approach from the road but during renovation it seems to have taken away some of the beauty to some extent. This was my first time here as I was visiting for a team building for my company and my company uses this place and has corporate rates/​discounts. I checked-​in on a Tuesday afternoon and checked-​out Friday morning. I am not entirely sure where the renovation is taking place or what is being renovated but I know the main entrance is closed and I entered through the detoured entrance which doesn’t show case the same ambiance as their pictures on their website do.
The parking is $ 30 whether you self park or use their valet so be smart about it and use the VALET!!! The valet team was a mixture of warm greetings and cold shoulders, really depended upon who you interacted with at the time. Or was it because I wasn’t driving the Bentley Coupe or Maserati? Like I said, I received a mixture so I know it wasn’t that, I was just joking.
Upon entering the interim lobby you are greeted by the bellhop who were always warm with their hellos and loved to create conversations with those who felt like chatting about what brings them to the hotel, I myself enjoyed the conversation with a few of them because it felt more personable. And they have a bowl full of hard candies that were so freaking addictive, I couldn’t stop snacking on them anytime I was entering or exiting.
All of the concierge team I met were awesome, all were asking if my stay has been pleasant or if there is anything I needed or felt was lacking from my visit. My check-​in was nice and easy and I was off to my room within a minute or two. I will say that this hotel was extremely busy with both guests and the conferences being held here by CMS, Kaiser, the Chinese Medical Association and others, never saw the same face twice.
The room I stayed in had a single King Size bed with a tub/​shower, TV but no fridge! My colleague whose room was literally next door to mine had a fridge but it was not working properly. Not sure what that is about but then again I didn’t have a need for one. On the website when I was first told about staying I loved the décor and views but I knew my view wouldn’t be the magnificent one overlooking Oakland but I thought I would have a nice view. I was wrong, my view was the roof and a tree. But hey, I wasn’t here for the stunning view, I was here because I was on a business trip can’t complain too much.
I was unable to use any of the amenities as I was tied up with work and hanging out with colleagues after work hours so I cannot rate those. I also did not eat in their restaurant nor use the bar, I was out at other places exploring Oakland, SF and Berkley. My rating is based on the interaction with the staff, the setup of the hotel and the stay only. The bed was hard by the way but I slept none the less. Even though renovations were happening I did not hear a peep at all so i will reiterate, I do not know where in the hotel they were being done.
I can only assume I will be back here again the next time I am up in Oakland on business and I will make use of those amenities and I hope the renovations will be complete so that I can experience the Claremont experience.

I can’t say enough about how much I love this place. The location is perfect for easy access to Cal as well as the shops on Claremont and College Avenues. The views from all angles are stunning (today’s view even included The Blue Angels flying over the waterfront of SF). The pool and club are exceptional. The service is top-​notch (the bartender out by the pool is a sweetheart). All of that, plus the renovated rooms are marvellous. The air conditioning works perfectly, which can be an issue in older properties, and the room amenities and updates are very tasteful.
I had room service breakfast, which was delivered within the quoted timeframe. And, as a treat, I had dinner at the Meritage restaurant in a cute little booth for one. I sat reading my book and enjoying the panoramic views of the Bay and it was a lovely dinner. The food was very tasty: pork shank that literally fell off the bone and a lovely starter of tomatoes with basil pesto, and buratta.
I will definitely be back (believe me, I will be back). I am so happy to see this property returned to its former glory, it’s a special place.

The VALET is RUDE! We had a validated ticket for parking, but the automated reader was not allowing us to exist. The posted sign said to go to valet. So we did. However the valet refused to fix the problem and insisted we had to pay the $ 4 to exit. On top of this, he had no customer service skills. Instead of apologizing for the situation first, he said he doesn’t know anything and refused to help. All he wanted was the $ 4!
You ruin the whole experience here when you end a visit with rude service!

Tis true, the Claremont is under renovation. It is a 100 year old resort. A Victorian treasure to be sure!
However, it seemed like they were handling it quite well. No dust or disruption that we noticed. We went for our anniversary and were upgraded to a bay view room– one of the new models (I took and posted lots of pics with my check in).
The GORGEOUS room was decorated Hollywood Regency style– so elegant! The view was splendid. The bathroom was indeed sexy. My only complaint was that it had two queen beds (–½ star, a king size would have been *ideal for a romantic retreat).
We enjoyed the pool, no tennis this time and the spa had all of the amenities though it feels dated and kind of spooky at night (- ½ star).
Breakfast at the Meritage (Paragon was closed) impressed me very much. Salmon Tartine for me, Basic breakfast for my spouse. Very nice place. Great food, impeccable service. Even the coffee was delicious and the fresh squeezed oj.
Highly recommend, and hope to return soon!

The room and it’s bay views are wonderful. This review is only for the dismal room service. I was quoted 25 minutes so I was surprised when the cart arrived less than 10 minutes later. The reason was soon clear when I saw the old/​cold bacon and scrambled eggs. They forgot to include a knife for my husbands meal and a spoon for my yogurt. We called to have those two delivered and they brought two full sets of silverware on a filthy plate. Stay here, but don’t get the room service.
Update: I can’t believe we had briefly considered looking into a membership here. Two days later we find out that The Claremont double charged us for dinner. They have yet to respond to multiple calls to remedy the error. I simply cannot recommend this place in good faith. Heed my advice and spend your money at an overpriced establishment with better customer service.
