For 8 months I had suffered with what I thought was plantar fasciitis. I hurt and I limped. I had endured this once before years ago and had received relief only after a long and expensive series of cortisone shots. On a family member’s encouragement, I went to see Dr. Lepp. He did a thorough investigation and analysis of what was going not only with my foot, my posture, my gait, and my lifestyle, but also what was going on in my diet that needed help so I could heal. In a much shorter time than my last bout, I am happy to say I am walking and hiking hours at a time with no pain and no limp. If you have foot or leg problems, I recommend you go see him and follow the treatment plan he sets up for you. It is great to be on my feet again, and I must say, I don’t think I could feel as good as I do without his caring attention and knowledge. He is a very talented practitioner.

I came to Dr. Lepp on a recommendation from a friend, having fallen on my butt at breakfast in a friend’s kitchen (the chair collapsed out from under me). He dealt with my issue with that in the first visit (no more pain), but I had been wanting for some time to find someone to help me with nutritional issues. I had been diagnosed as borderline diabetic (sugar=138) and was having other chronic problems (sleep apnea, proctitis, obesity, cholesterol problems). Within the 1^st several months, under Dr. Dave’s care and instruction, we managed to lick the cholesterol issues by going organic, using some supplements he recommended, and watching out for good dietary practices. He also helped me find a new solution to my sleep apnea via a referral to a dentist who made me a passive dental appliance instead of the electrical CPAP I had to use before (so now I can go camping — Yay!) We had also knocked the sugar down to 112 or so (still borderline), but we hit a plateau. So Dr. Dave dug deeper, and after some really recently developed blood tests were done, discovered that I’ve had a gluten sensitivity issue (as we believe about ¹⁄₃ of Americans do currently, but remain undiagnosed as I was). This was complicated by a raft of other food allergies, including dairy and many of the alternative grains (quinoa, buckwheat, etc). Now, after a month on my new gluten-​free dairy-​free eating plan, I can finally state that we’ve licked the proctitis after 20+ years, and are well on the way to repairing the «leaky gut» problem that was aggravating many of the other nutritional problems. I’m down about 10 pounds now from my original weight; I know that doesn’t sound like much but the changes only just started after 20 years, so I feel we’re on the right track. I feel a lot healthier overall. I’m preparing for another blood test this fall to see how the sugar is going. I’m still not great at exercising (there’s only so much a doctor can do for you!), but I know how to proceed now, thanks to Dr. Dave. And I know that I can rely on him to solve the tough problems (mine is pretty complicated, and traditional doctors hadn’t really helped), and to teach me how to play my part in my own healing. I really appreciate the doctor-​patient cooperation that Dr. Dave emphasizes, and it has done me a world of good. Thank you, Dr. Lepp, and let’s keep up the good work!

I went to Dr Lepp out of a recommendation from my boyfriend. I am a very healthy woman, except that I was having bowel movements every 3 days for many years, and was feeling tired, bloated and stressed on a daily basis. After seeing Dr Lepp, he did standard blood testing and muscle testing to see what may have been causing this and suggested I go on a special diet eliminating potential food allergens. After only a couple weeks with these new eating habits, I now have a bowel movement at least once a day and I am feeling the best I have in my life. I have chosen to make this a lifestyle change and continue to eat whatever I want except for the foods that make my body feel crappy. And as an unintended but welcomed result, I have lost 10 pounds. Dr. Dave is phenomenal. I referred many people to Dr. Dave and have heard and seen some *amazing results in some *tough cases. I’ve been going to him for 2 or 3 years now. I now have a completely different and enabling view of health and how to maximize it. I originally went to Dr. Dave with a really tight knot behind my right shoulder blade that 3 or 4 other chiropractors and massage therapists could do nothing about. And any small relief I had gotten went away very quickly. Dr. Dave got to the source of the problem very quickly, and that whole issue just doesn’t exist any more. I’m actually grateful for the depth of Dr. Dave’s knowledge and his willingness to doggedly stick to studying a challenging problem until he sorts it out.
I also love his willingness to say «I have no idea, but I know who you should talk to». He’s great about referring specific problems outside his expertise to others who have specialized appropriately.
Update: We’re doing some lab tests that may very well uncover something that I wasn’t even aware of that may have negatively-​effected me for the rest of my life. Dr. Dave’s really got my back. It’s really surprising to have a doctor who is as insightful and thorough as he is.
