Candace was my doula for the birth of my second child. She was amazing and I don’t know what I would have done without her assistance during the birth. Her support, expertise and coaching made every difference for me to make me feel calm and in managing a challenging labor and delivery. Despite the challenges, with Candace’s support the birth went relatively smoothly with minimal interventions. I previously had a bad experience with the doula I hired for the birth of my first child and so this time I researched extensively the best doulas around and got many references. I heard nothing but excellent feedback about Candace from several sources and this feedback was affirmed when she was my doula. Candace was calm and supportive, and she coached me through the hardest parts of the labor. She also helped prepare me in the weeks and months before the birth providing coaching on comfort techniques for me and my partner. She was always available before the birth when I had questions and she showed up immediately when I needed her when I went into labor. I could not recommend Candace more highly for anyone seeking the support of a doula for their birth.
