Arrived early, handled me, heavy trunk and bags, my service dog, and a screaming infant like it was no swea — a smile the whole way. Some days can be rough for me, and he made my life feel light and easy — the high point of my week. Also the extended prius was «green» and held all my luggage easily. The car was green, not blue I think

These guys are great. Very honest and accurate in their estimates of wait times. Once, when they didn’t have anyone on hand, they even gave me the phone number of another company to call instead. The drivers are very friendly and helpful.

I called Cal Cab last night to arrange a 6 am airport pickup for two visitors of mine from Japan. They arrived a few minutes early, called to let us know, and patiently waited outside. The process was painless, from the efficient appointment setting to the on time pickup. I’ve used Cal Cab before, and their service has always been top notch. Thanks, Cal Cab!

Cal cab is on time taxi service and a good costumer service and a friendly and good sense of humor one time my fly was at 4:30 from Oakland airport to LA international airport and I request to be picked up at 3:30 but they guy arrive at 3:00 and he called me and said there is accidents in the i880 freeway and I just took my time by the time is 3:30 I walked to the taxi and the 580 freeway was packed and he said I’ll get you there on time if you don’t mind for me to get out of the freeway I have a shot cute and then he got out at the high st exit and the took the oak port st into the air port I get there on time I have only 10 min left

I haven’t thought about reviewing taxi companies since the experience is usually fairly generic. I ride taxis often, usually from the queue in front of train stations and hotels, so I am familiar with the experience. However, Cal Cab set the standard so high, that I always call them for longer rides. A couple weeks ago, I had another smooth and on-​time ride to SFO. As usual, the cab was clean and Hussien, our driver, was courteous and efficient in navigating traffic. If I were a baller, I would hire Hussein as my personal driver!

I have never written a review of any business before on here, or any other site, but I felt so strongly about this one, that I definitely needed to write.
Hussein is the MAN. When I called their number, he answered and I told him that I was in a hurry, and he said «OK I will be there in 5 or 10 minutes.» He arrived in 4 minutes. Then, he absolutely got me to my destination in the quickest time possible. Then, I was looking for food and he not only gave me a great suggestion, but took me right to the restaurant, no extra charge.
I will absolutely be using his taxi service every time the need arises. I strongly recommend that you do the same.

Zero stars for a nightmare experience. I called for a ride to Bart for the SFO airport in December of 2014. They were very reassuring that they would come to my house at the appointed time.
That time came and went. I called again. I was told that the driver was just dropping off his customer and would be on his way — from Richmond to the Berkeley Hills. Twenty minutes later — no signs of anyone yet. I called again. This time they did not answer the phone at all.
Frantic, I waived down a neighbor who drove me there. I never heard from them. As far as I know, they never came.
A horrible way to start a vacation, I’ld say.

Awesome taxi service. I asked to be picked up at 5:15am for an early flight (thinking that I might be picked up at 6 or so) and they showed up RIGHT ON TIME! With a good attitude. I intend on calling them first anytime a fly.

Punctual, friendly, clean cab. However, I am only giving four stars because, though I checked on the phone that I could use a debit card, that did not seem to be an option once I got to my destination. Luckily, I had cash. But I didn’t appreciate the bait and switch.

FABULOUS! I agree with all the previous positive reviews. I had to get to Big O to pick up my car this morning — it was there overnight because when I called Yellow Cab yesterday afternoon nobody ever showed up and Big O closed in the meantime. Cal Cab said he’d be at my house in 7 minutes and he was. His car was clean and he was lovely to chat with. Have put the number in my phone for future reference.

Very helpful! My daughter was arriving on a late night train and was nervous about getting back to Cal. We called about arranging a taxi tonight. No problem, we were told… just have her call 20 minutes ahead. She did and all was great. My daughter is slightly disabled so having things arranged ahead makes her less nervous. Your taxi service was great! Will certainly use again now that we have the number! Thank you for being so understanding and helpful.

Hi, Sinan,
I’ve started calling Sinan when I need taxi from 2 years till now, and I’ve never seen his car dirty or smelly, and he doesn’t smoke, so I’ve never smelled cigarettes, not only me but also my friends. When Sinan tells you he’ll come after 5 mins, then go out you’ll see him outside in 2 mins :)
I highly recommended him a lot if you have an appointment or you’re late as I always did, and I never changed him. one thing more, he always asked me which way I preferred to go even if I have gone with him to the same address hundred time, like highway or shortcut, he never forget asking this question, :)
