Berkeley Rose School offers Waldorf curriculum in its parent-child, preschool, kindergarten, and grades programs. The early childhood program is a member of WECAN.
Berkeley Rose is a collective of parents and teachers working with the Waldorf approach who have come together and work together to accomplish this goal: To offer to its children a complete («head, heart, and hands») and loving approach to education inside and outside the classroom; an education that honors the individual as much as it teaches the importance of community.
In all of its actions in the classroom, Berkeley Rose strives to:
*Respect and protect childhood
*Support and help develop all aspects of each child through academics, social/emotional health, and motor skills at the appropriate developmental time
*Put forth individuals who are citizens of the world, dedicated to understanding and contributing to the health and balance of human kind
*Follow the Waldorf educational model
