I love BPG for the most part but at the same time when it comes to pre-​order pickups they arent the best. Whats the point of putting in a pre-​order and BPG sending a processing email then 4 hours later an email saying your orders cancelled or 8 hours after the fact, and its not like the first time this happened. I hear the reason is the line is priority but at the same time you dont order a pizza through papa johns and then four hours later get an email saying your order was cancelled… i find it odd, as the whole point of a pre-​order is to pre-​order not pre-​order wait 8 hours then just have the shit be cancelled. and when it does happen, they dont seem to really care… so much for loyality… and for advertisement on the site it says «BPG offers free, express ordering for in-​store pick-​up to all our members. This service is quick, convenient, and there are no fees or minimum order requirements.» how is it quick and convenient if BPG cancels things hours after saying the order is «being processed» …disappointed for now

Good luck trying to get a delivery, especially out of town. I haven’t been able to get a delivery since January. Usually when I order I have to call back after waiting two hours only to be told I never ordered. Four times this has happened. I have shoulder spasms and nerve pain in my back and I really need good meds with no inconvenience.

This has been my go to spot for medical cannabis in the area. I have tried other dispensaries but I like BPG’s deals and the high quality of the product. I personally have not tried the dry herb but I do like their selection of concentrates/​edibles.
I would say my biggest gripe is the full service checkout. A few times I have been told something is Sativa when it is actually Indica and vice versa. I don’t realize this until after the fact, and I end up buying something other than what I wanted. Regardless, at least I know what I’m getting is quality.
This is a great dispensary which gets a lot of my business. But I would suggest that you do your research before coming in.

This place was awesome. It’s been like a year since I’ve been back. However, my experience today wasn’t so good.
Today: I stand in line to get registered and was pointed in the direction of a little kiosk/​desk off to the side. No words, just a glance and a finger; rude but I’ve dealt with drama queen receptionists before. The older lady at the side desk was having trouble with her laptop, so I waited for a bit. As I wait I am hearing the first girl cussing about a «rude» caller that told her she had a bad attitude, or whatever. I was just relieved that I didn’t have to deal with her foul mouth and unprofessional conduct. However, once the older lady’s laptop finally started, she told me that I hadn’t been there in a year and needed to check in with the other girl. Once, I presented my recommendation and ID she ignored me; I’m the only one standing there so I informed her of what the older lady told me. Then she gave me the nastiest attitude. Normally, this type of stuff wears off by the time I get to the counter, but I honestly felt like this behavior shouldn’t be tolerated.
We all have bad days but this girl and her entitled attitude cost this business a sale. I actually waited in line again to get a refund for some concentrates that I had just purchased. The budtender was nice, but there is no excuse for customers, let alone patients, to feel like a burden or treated with disrespect. I didn’t feel compensated and the girl, «Stephanie» (blonde young lady), will most likely never know how rude and unnecessary her attitude is. Hopefully, management has a talk with her and she learns from this avoidable situation. I’d rather rack up points and spend my money elsewhere; where getting registered isn’t an inconvenience.

I simply asked the woman on the phone about a certain kind of medication she began to become extremely rude to me when I continue to ask her about the medication I was hung up on my face I would never spend my money there

i have not been to the physical location but the online signup process was painless (and much easier/​smoother than at harborside)… and when i called maybe 10 minutes after submitting my info, the person who answered was just finishing up putting me in the system. all of the people i spoke with throughout were present and friendly. i set up a next-​day delivery that was on-​time and included a 10% discount; the delivery person could not have been nicer. it helps that the website (another better-​than-​harborside item) is tied into stickyguide, but standardized and up-​to-​date ingredient listings appear to still be down the road a ways… still, overall very helpful.

Staff is rude and unprofessional. Product is pricey, the place is dicey. I’m never going back.

I go here all the time and service has gone way down. Last time the bud tender was rude. Ok. We all have bad days. Whatever. One time I spent $ 60 on some special oil and get home to discover its all stuck in the lid and still is after 24 hours waiting for it to drip out. Takeaway: they don’t store their products with care. Unlike other dispensaries I’ve been to this place is always crowded and has a slightly aggro feel. I’ll start going elsewhere now. These people are rude.

Since being a member I’ve learned that they have these monthly deals that will always apply to the product that you are looking for! the range of discounts they provide is awesome!
Today I did my first online/​delivery order, here was the process.
Go to there site, look through everything they have to offer and submit.
You get a confirmation email, YOU MUST CONFIRM
Next you get a call to confirm all the details. Since this month the O. Pen co2 are all on sale she allowed me to keep it on my account to use for next time since i was already receiving a great deal, I liked that idea. The didn’t have what i opted to order so she gave me other options that were very similar strains of what i originally ordered and even told me about each strain!
When you make a delivery time i just chose tomorrow at 2pm since i figured that would give them time, and she offered to have it delivered to my house in just 5 hours!
These guys are great, employees are super nice. Other places have awesome things to offer but these people make me feel educated about ANYTHING they offer and make the entire experience VERY comfortable for a new client.
Very pleased, Highly recommend, I just don’t know how you could NOT like them.

It’s Halloween weekend and for two days BPG is having a 20% off sale on all-​star level (top shelf) product. But most of the, «all-​star,» product they have available is very low THC for top shelf — as low as 8. xx% (which is gone now and I don’t remember the exact strain, but I remember the bud tender lamely trying to excuse it).
They still have a 20% off sale on mega mix, but it’s comprised of low-​test all-​star and cheaper stuff. Even though the website listed (and still lists) mega mix as being 17.6%, when I got home, I saw that the mega mix I bought today was only 13.9% total THC (THC and THCa added together). That’s the lowest I’ve seen since Berkeley made its dispensaries do serious testing. But of course it’s due to the faux-​all-​star clearance — trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something mild to smoke!
Once again, Berkeley Patients Group has become just a money grab. I never met Jim McClelland, but from all I’ve heard about him, he’d probably be rolling in his grave if he knew about the shenanigans taking place at BPG. There is no compassion, just profit at the expense of patients.
BTW, BPG has these fancily printed 16 page glossy brochures titled, «Understanding Cannabis Testing,» at the front desk for people to take. I’m talking fancy expensive printing — they’re beautiful, they must cost a ton. But money is apparently no object for faux-​non-​profit Berkeley Patients Group! I imagine their marketing research demonstrated that it more would be more profitable to print fancy brochures than to hand out a 8.5″ x 11″ xerox. Because that’s what BPG is all about — profit! Compassion has taken the back seat of the last bus.
To be fair, most dispensaries are in it for the profit. But at least they don’t have sales on low-​test placebo weed and call it all-​star. Unfortunately BPG has come a long way from its roots.

The facility looks clean, security everywhere, minimal parking. The staff is super informative, give excellent recommendations and friendly. Even though there isn’t a lot of parking, because the place is located in a gated area, you feel safe enough to leave your car unattended with even a window or two down. They have an awesome selection of hybrids, sativas, and indicas! I love getting the Open Vape pens here. Their packaging is professional with all eighths in a thick glass jar

I have never been disappointed with my experience at BPG. If I know what I want, I get in express lane.
I brought my elderly aunt who is also a patient and they treated her very well. I appreciate BPG.
I’ve also gotten delivery from them before and it worked out very well.

Got $ 5 and a lighter? Want to expiriment with racy sativas or numbing indicas? You can trust everything and you can trust nothing in this wonderland store. You got the money to spend, you’re leaving with some exotic stuff. You got $ 20? Have a try at Russian roulette. The sky’s the limit in this ambiguous Ross like store.

I’m giving One star for their customer service. The main person in particular, the Receptionist. The «line leader» guy was also an ass. We had a few questions to ask, being as it was our first time and the receptionist just kept telling me that her only job is to answer the phone, Not answer questions. So I go to stand in line, in awe of all of there products and trying to see the clones they had, then Line leader guy acts like his last job was at the air port for the TSA and ignorantly tells me to look down and follow the arrows to the correct area because I was in the «express» lane and high, apparently that’s how they air control traffic their patients. Nothing here is companionate or welcoming. Considering you sign up and give them the rights to provide medicine for you, they should be more kind.
I had questions about what days they took vendors, requirements, flower/​edibles etc… And the BRAT at the front desk said she didn’t know anything and couldn’t help me. Uuummmm, then why the hell are YOU at the front desk ??? The only good thing about this place is they will hold a clone for you, considering I came from Santa Cruz to get there. I will not being in a hurry to go back. The wack ass free gift they give their first time members is only a lighter, and a broken bit of chocolate. So stoked I gave them more rights to grow, and all I got was this lousy lighter and a total ¢ut to deal with every time I might come back. No thanks!
