Recently my modem stopped working. Several times in the in the past I was able to fix the problem myself, but not this time. After a week of futile struggling, I called Berkeley Backup,
Steve came over two days later and put in 90 minutes of hard work talking with my ISP and trying all their complicated suggestions. Finally the modem was working again.
A few days after this my landline phone went dead. Steve came over and after a grueling hour talking with AT&T got them to send a technician who fixed the phone.
I admire Steve’s expertise and patience and I like his friendliness. His charge for his work was very reasonable.

Steve and Jesse are amazing. for years, whenever our computers have problems, they are willing to diagnose over the phone if they can (often for free if it’s quick) or come over to our house to fix whatever is needed. They explain things very well and get us up and running again. Great fair prices for quick knowledgeable and very nice service!
