Rita Renee’s Spa

I had a great experience here when I went with my girlfriends for my birthday to the Roman baths. An escape from the city was much needed. We called around to a couple of different spas and settled on Rita Renee’s due to the friendliness of the receptionist and their availability and price. It didn’t disappoint! I’m not sure what her name was but my massage therapist was wonderful. She was sweet and down to earth, and asked a few times to ensure that the pressure was ok. It was one of the better massages I’ve gotten. I loved the inside of the spa as it was decorated really nice with soothing accents and colors. The Massage room had gentle music playing and I think I remember a blue sky painted on the ceiling with clouds. I relaxed right away. The price was reasonable too and they give military a 10% discount which always helps. The best is that they have a package deal of $ 160 which includes a massage, mani, pedi and facial for 4 hours which roughly comes to $ 40/​service or $ 40/​hour which is a great deal. I’m definitely planning on coming back to try out the combo package!

We loved Rita and especially loved Elena the woman who gave us the massages. The facial was really unique, in that it involved more massage of hands and legs then it gave in facial services. No extractions, just a cleansing, masque and cream. The hand strokes on the facial were not fluid just like having your friend put cream on your face. One last thing that was very inconvenient is if you have a combo facial/​massage you have to get back into your street clothes to go to the next room because the rooms are in the nail salon.
However, this is a lovely salon, the rooms were very nice and both Rita and Elena gave great massages.

I booked a massage/​facial combo and it was delightful!
The massage and facial were combined into a fluid 1.5 hours of relaxation.
Rita Renee used a variety of techniques and is very skilled. She seems very intuitive, and as such was able to give me the best massage I’ve probably ever had.

Just stumbled upon Rita Renee’s Spa and had an incredible massage. It’s a small day spa in the middle of town that opened a few days ago. My boyfriend and I loved the family-​owned feel of the place. Rita’s husband was working the front desk as locals wandered in to congratulate Rita on her new place.
Rita personally gave me a terrific therapeutic massage, complete with warm towels and hot stones. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. It was also more affordable than any other massages in town. I think we paid $ 60 for 50 min. It was the perfect way to spend an hour in Berkeley Springs.
