Meet the Manager

Dr. Wendy X.

Manager

Dr. Wanyun (Wendy) Xue was born in Shanghai, China and came to the U.S. (New York) at age 9. She grew up on the east coast and has been involved with children from her young teenage years: being a camp counselor, tutor and volunteering at the hospital. Dr. Wendy completed her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 2002 and went forward to obtain D.D.S from Columbia University in 2007, and finally finished her training in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry in 2009 at UMDNJ.

Dr. Wendy takes a rather conservative approach to dentistry and believes that prevention should be the main goal in the field of pediatrics. She believes in not only educating the parents in caries prevention, but also in building a positive and trusting relationship with the children. «Establishing a dental home early in a child’s life is the most important factor in preventing disease and creating a comfortable environment for patients.»
