My wife banged up our honda pilot pretty bad. Went to honda for an estimate and they quoted me a hefty amount. They even told me I would have to replace a whole door. Let’s just say for the amount they wanted to charge me for the work, I might have as well put that as a down payment on a new car. And our pilot is a 2009 with only 63 000 miles.
So I went to gillies’ on a recommendation from a friend at my gym. not only did I not have to replace the door but my quote was 1⁄3 the price. The owner was very honest and tried to get me the best price on materials. My car was done in 4 days and now I feel like I have a new car. They even washed and waxed my car… Unbelievable. This will now be my family auto-​body shop. It’s great too that it’s less than a mile away from my home in Bergenfield.
Note that I’m leaving actual pricing out of this as I don’t want to speak for the shop, so I just compared to my honda quote in relativity. I realize that dealerships are always more but the honest and work ethic of this shop is what I appreciate the most.
